  • nope, didn't work

  • nice

  • lol funny stuff. even funnier is the fact that people thought that someone with all those nice AKs would seriously think that woul work. ITS A JOKE PEOPLE. hilarious. and thumbs up for not responding to these idiots

  • for starters, silencing a .22lr is almost pointless... the report of most rounds, especially winchester are softer than that of a Badboy firecracker. (single greenfused firecrackers made by shogun)

second off... who really thinks they can suppress an AK74 (shorter barrel gives less time and space for all the powder to burn effectively.) with a plastic soda bottle with not even the slightest bit of a baffling agent (not saying that adding any would help but it would be a start)?

  • Pillow stuffing or that fake snow stuff that goes around Christmas trees in the bottle will help. That and securing it to the rifle but that's too powerful for that bottle to work well or last very long.

  • Lol, how quiet. Very useless...

  • @Kackamann1 .....Really??????

  • Epic Fail !!

  • wow dude that was totally radical but next time could u make the silencers work

  • it works but they are not securing it to the weapon. just shoving in on the weapon. also I almost want to say its filled with paper or something? the bottles i see usually look foggy or filled with white

  • NICE gun.

  • try filling the bottle with steel wool. besides, that style of supressor only really works with a low pressure ammunition like a .22

  • potatoes are a rumor assassins put out there to kill all the counter assassins and make their guns explode in their faces

  • what an idiot.

  • ALSO, THIS IS ILLEGAL IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA! Creation of a silencer without registration and/or getting a tax stamp can land you in federal prison while being charged with being in possession of a sound moderator.

  • fail. fail. fail.

  • you have to use a .22 LR and the bottle has the be taped to the barrel. doesnt work as well as a pro one, but it does work.

  • HAHAHA what a stupid idea this was! you need to make them out of machined steel if you want it to work with anything bigger than a .22

  • keep in mind, people, that this is highly illegal. so is any other way of manufacturing a suppressor. the only way to get one legally is to pay the 200 dollar tax stamp and purchase one. or build one, but you still have to pay the 200 dollar tax stamp.

and yeah dude, you have to tape the bottle on.

  • First, the bottle has to stay on, second it has to be a subsonic round... epic fail

  • You epic failed too. The bottle trick will only work with .22 cal.

  • you are supposed to tape it on

  • The new james bond

  • You need to tape the bottlet to the barrel and fill the bottle with lightly wet paper towels...

  • lmao.

  • He did use to be a secret agent....

  • It works for Steven Segal.....

  • hahahahaha

  • If if Steven Segal did it it had to be true.

  • they should have asked him how he've done it

  • @tylergnut Maybe Chuck Norris told it to work........or else!

  • @tylergnut It also worked for Mark Wahlberg

  • how did this vid get 3.5/5 stars?

  • Ummm try it with a .22 cal

  • you need a hole in the bottle first and you need to tape it on

  • Lol on the second go he goes for his ears straight after, you can almost hear the "Ow...Loud"

  • cool, but u need tape, lots of steel wool and a long bottle

  • LOL

  • ur tryin to re attempt the scene from the film shooter,in that he was usin a .22 bolt action rifle.

  • And subsonic ammo probably

  • LOL

  • He just did not how to do it.

  • make a bigger hole in the bottom of bottle

  • PET bottles do work with .22 caliber weapons. But they must be securely attached. Make an adapter and THREAD them on and they work fine for about 10 shots. Larger caliber weapons like this are too powerful for PET bottles.

  • <_< their always filled with water, car cement or no-more nails or something.

  • ???

  • these compounds absorb the sound waves and slow down the bullet

  • what about bullet ballistic?

  • it's slower but still effective at close range.

  • I mean trajectory...

    what is this close range?

As I understood you still thinking that PET bottles are effective?

  • being a slower bullet it'll drop off faster for example if a normal bullet falls to the ground after 10-15km then one going though a pet bottle might only get 3-6km before falling to the ground. close range is about 0-200m

  • what does that equasion have to dowith it

  • it will not fall faster the force of gravity is the same no matter what the velocity -9.8mper second squared the same gun fired one at lower speed and one at higher the bullets will both hit the ground at the same time just differing in distance from the muzzel

  • @ipscukr They work on lower caliber weapons like .22s; search it and you'll see many successful attempts. The ones that do work do not contain any water or glue or other nonsense.

  • This goes out to everyone thats talking about improvised silencers. The way a silencer works is by slowing down the sound saves. Do do this you need more than just a water bottle. Think of how a subwoofer works. You need an enclosure and materials inside to slow down the sound to give it a nice rich tone. This is the same with silencers. Since your in russia, try stuffing it somewhat tight with cotton balls or toilet paper. You will tell a difference, but its only good for 1 or 2 shots.

  • @obeyance again - you have no clue what you are talking about. "slowing down" sound waves (lower the Hz) - makes the sound DEEPER. Speeding them UP makes them HIGHER. THE SPEED OF SOUND IS A CONSTANT IN A VACUUM - in normal condidtions, it is ~340 m/s.

    You are, sir, an idiot.

  • @thegentilehunter

    full of water?

is "car cement" anything like sidewalk cement?

    you are an absolute idiot.

  • where they filled with anything?

  • no, they are empty
