  • A late night pleasure

  • so amazing no words to describe the feeling

  • The first note of this song makes time stop...

  • mccoy solo is just perfect

  • I'm sure the word "it" means "I love you".

  • one thing is sure. god listen john coltrane

  • フリージャズのJohn Coltrane もいいけど、バラードも素晴らしい!

( John Coltrane of free jazz is also good, but the ballade is also wonderful! )

  • The Best Sax Sound ever...wow!

  • The most perfect jazz tune ever, IMHO. And I'm not kidding... every note perfection... and I'm always so mesmerized by Train that I sometimes overlook the dazzling piano solo... when the aliens dig up mankind's time capsule, I sure hope this tune is in it...

  • perfect...

  • He had me at Note One! He was the most soulful. Everybody plays a lot of notes or sings a lot of notes with no feeling. This is so pure! Makes me cry at its beauty. I also loved Johnny Hartman's singing with Trane.

Thank you for this lovely posting.

  • If this doesn't make you cry.....then nothing will. Coltrane had the very best sound (for me) in the world!

  • Magic.

  • Sooo many grace notes! Its soo cool how he played em so fast!

  • 'Coltrane ~~ Well, what can you say, see? ...

  • that's so blue!!!

  • Samy 's blues

  • this picture is hanging on my wall ;) wonderfull..:)

  • Trane sure knows how to stir up a quiet storm. Thanks!

  • I know there were a lot of good sax players, but was there anyone better at touching your soul when they played?

  • No one better. What condensed intensity!

  • @JULEZJAZZ I realise your comment is two years old, but it's perfect.

  • I Love Michael Brecker version too

  • Everytime I listen to this piece, I think about my love (my one and only M.).

  • this is my fav song from coltrane

  • Beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I cant think of another word to describe it
