I have a quick question at first i wanted a pair of cdj 1000 mk3's but alot of people told me instead to buy the cdj 850's or 2000 so i looked in to the 850 and saw the new black models so i like them too but i was wondering what do you think is better also the same with the pioneer djm 700 i want to buy but i have heard good things about djm 800 i dont really have the money but if i want i can get the 800 but i heard its a 600 + money difference for 4 effects help pls!!
The reason Pioneer probably called the 850 the "bedroom dj's deck" is because they know that, no professionals use it. 1000MK3 and 2000 are called the "industry standard" for a reason. I maybe only a bedroom dj with a growing dj service but I know enough not to waste my money. Bought my first 1000mk3 four years ago and it still going strong along with my 2nd 1000mk3 and two 2000's. Four years, 4 cd players

DJs using the rekordbox™ software can easily export their music files and custom managed data onto a USB device and quickly plug in directly to the CDJ-850 and access tracks without the need to be linked to a PC. Play histories on the CDJ-850 are automatically recorded onto rekordbox™ via connected USB device for the DJ’s next session which makes the cycle of music file management, DJ play and preparation for future sessions very simple.
@djfaible I'm still a big fan of the 1000mk3. I would highly recommend keeping your 1000 and hold out for the 950's or cdj 2000, but on the other note, it really depends on your needs, but I would think heavily on your decision.
ya im sure pioneer is listening lolll :d

Thank you so much for the review :) I really was about to purchase a pair of 850s but I think you are right with the 900s.

true, everyone is doing this these days i notice. giving you less features but trying to charge more.
you really have to do your homework before buying or you might end up being really disappointed.
