@OVERPOWERDGUNS123 Im not legally allowed to carry a balisong, but If I could I would still use a Folder over a Balisong. Balisongs are not meant to be flipped during a fight. Balisongs are the strongest folding knife design, thats what they were made for. Being able to flip it is a bonus.

@pikachu428 I believe it depends on the county that you live in. CA has a "chaotic knife law" in which the state only sets a "baseline" of laws for concealable weapons. I called my local police station and asked if butterfly knifes were legal to carry and was told that single sided ones are indeed legal. But Dandelionflufff has the right idea, I've carried mine for 5 years and never once had a problem. Remember it is ILLEGAL for them to search your person without a warrant or probable cause.

Yeaaah ... it's a cool trick and all but it's not really "practical". I mean, the blade ends up in the closed position in the end, so it's not really for self defence (it is just a trick after all)

i have to ask man, when you were learning the trick did your pinky feel too short? because i feel like i am having to tuck the handle all the way into my fingers making the handles twist. pretty frustrating, just wanted to know if you had the same problem. thanx calvin.

@reaperisgrim I had the same problem my friend. The pinky is probably the hardest part of this move for anyone. Your pinky isnt too short but it may feel like it until you have practiced enough to get that pinky up to strength. Which I still havent done.
