One of the reasons the Pixies aren't 'HUGE', is because their song 'Here comes your man' was brought out very late- because they thought it was 'too poppy'.

If they had brought it out earlier, it would have attracted more people to them.-

The Pixies are still pretty well known, but not as much as they should be.

QED, your argument is invalid. Pixies aren't huge because people don't like originality on their radio station all that much. Plus, as I can attest from personal experience, Frank Black's howl doesn't compliment driving all that much.

The range and emotion in his voice were always what attracted me to this band. Funny how only now, a decade later & when I no longer listen to the band do I see the people in it.
