hey joshuazimmerman I just got mines yesterday and most of the games I download work...some when booted up says error cannot load data or something like that....is there a specific place where I put the nds data for the game...each rom is in a folder...and the sav appears in the same folder along with the rom...the games that geive me that data error also showed a save after being booted up but I am still getting that error...what's going on??

You realize how horrible that really is, don't you? I paid $20 for my Acekard 2.1 and another $20 for an 8GB microSD card. That would be 4 times the space for 67% less cash (sorry if math is wrong; 4 in the morning). Not only that, but it has the same compatibility that that card has. Sure, it doesn't have a built in USB, but that really lowers the overall look of the card. Hope you enjoy your waste of money.

Ok. I have a DS-X, and you know how you need to patch new games so they'll work.

Well I use to use DSlazy, and a seconds program to patch my games, since DSlazy doesn't seem to do the job on it's own.

I've reformatted my mchine since, and I can't for the life of me, remember this second program. Does anyone know of a way to patch newer games to work wit the DS-X. I know there's a way, and I can't remember it.

yeah but R4 is extremely outdated, and also DS-xtreme. I would recommend CyloDS, but that also turns out to be outdated as well. I think I would go for the Acekard 2i if I were you. Besides R4 practically doesnt exist anymore, I mean there are others but they are fakes.....but if they work, they work

Flash Cards are measured in GigaBits, rather than GigaBytes. 2GB is the same as 16Gb. To get Gb out of GB, multiply by 8, and reverse that to go the other way.

Yeah DS-Xtreme has a set amount of storage. R4 and Cyclo DS have interchangeable slot to insert different Micro SD Cards. DS-Xtreme isn't 100% compatible like the Cyclo DS, Also Cyclo Supports Wifi and Download play.

$135 seems a bit much for me. R4 is only $41 (including shipping) at gameyeeeah . com. Me and my friend have both gotten one there and it takes about 2 weeks to ship. From what this video shows, it is the exact same as the R4 but with the R4, you much buy a micro SD, which i like since you get to choose the size. It only supports up to 2 gb though. I don't see any reason to get the DS.xtreme over the R4. Everything works. I've played doom and i will soon try quake. Hope this was helpful!

I just gave my DSX away and bought an R4. The DSX is a complete POS with the worst support of any mod company out there. The product is poor quality and will only work about 60% of the time. Save your money and buy something else... ANYTHING else.
