I used to have the soundtrack to Free Willy and it got scratched and now I need a new copy I used to play the scene when Jesse and the gang freed Willy from the poachers at the end and I also liked when Willy jumped over the stone wall right over Jesse and into the water! I always used to cry at the ending of Free Willy because eventhough it's a sad ending, it's still a happy ending, Willy finds his family and Jesse goes back to live with his new family. Great for them both!

We didn't have a lot of time to learn it, so we had to wing it. I just listened to the song. I used to watch free willy when I was 7-8 and rewound the bit with his song over and over and over. I cried and cried and cried. I ruined the tape. His other songs had similar effects. But I never truely knew who he was.

That was so uncalled for, it's ridiculous. If you have to resort to saying things like that because you have nothing better to do with your life, I'd love to say that I really dislike you. Instead, I just pity you. I feel sorry for you because you will never feel what we (MJs fans) feel. He saved lives, he inspired so many artists today, and he was the most loving man on the planet. I feel sorry for you because you can't feel that.

I love this song. I've been a michael jackson fan since herd 95' because I was born in 91' and ever since then I couldn't get enough, I remembered the time this movie came out on vhs & my dad made me turn it off bc he couldn't stand michael j fan. I was so bummed and ever since then I watch the movie all the time bc of michael :)

its weird, i used to always watch this video on the vhs of free willy, but idk wut happend to it, and i forgot all about the song, and then i heard it at his funeral, and i couldnt remember when i heard the song or wut i heard it on, and then i typed it in on youtube, and this came up, and then i was like, omg i remeber it was free willy, r.i.p the king of pop

back when I was a kid, me and my old
friend R.J. Williams (that plays Kit Cloudkicker on Disney's TaleSpin) who I first met in 1990 to 1993 have singed many of his songs since "Rock with You" also this one from the 1993 movie "Free Willy" and this one was used for our final goodbyes since we had to move on with our lives.

Have you heard Heal The World? Gone too soon? Man in the Mirror? Dangerous? I love his Ghost (short movie especially) - Michael is a genius - very deeply cared about people, animals and the Earth. Michael can lot of fun too, you just need to listen and watch him very carefully.

This movie, Free Willy has changed me forever. I have been watching it ever since I could crawl. I am now 12, and I have never been happier with Michael. If he wouldnt of died, I would not have remembered this song or Free Willy. Now I am chasing the dream of being an orca trainer. R.I.P MJ!

This song is amazing. I'm ashamed to admit I was one of those people who didn't like him that much because of the bad things being said about him. Now I know better and I apologize to MJ. I hope to see him in heaven one day and thank you for leaving such an amazing legacy!

This is my all time fav Michael Jackson song, This man has so much talent and the "I'm only human" part really fits, With all his talent and love for music, how could we ever expect him to be "normal" when he grew up in public view never really having the "normal" to begin with. He will be forever missed inour house, my 6 month old daughters favorite song is this one, we'll continue to play MJ for our children. Thank you for giving us a peice of you Michael, we appreciate it!

I also got a chance to sing this song in a choir concert when I was in 8th grade. My choir teacher decided last minute to add this song. We didn't have a lot of time to learn it, so we had to wing it. When it came to this song, instead of playing the song on the piano, they had it on the sound system with Michael singing and everything and we had to sing along with him because we didn't know the lyrics very well.
It didn't sound very good, but people applauded anyway. I will never forget it.

I heard this song on the radio the other night and after it played the deejay said that Michael wrote this song to describe his relationship with God, it's a very spiritual song.
He agreed to use it in the movie because of the movie's positive message and the lyrics were very fitting, describing the relationship with a troubled boy and a captive whale.
I actually am watching the movie right now and it makes me cry everytime. Beautiful movie, beautiful song. RIP, MJ.

And my favourite animal has always been the orca whale. I think Michael Jackson had the power, the beauty, the grace and the struggles of an Orca. Apparently you haven't seen anything until you see an Orca in the wild. Same for Michael. This earth was his jail, imagine what he can do in his freedom.

I just listened to the song. I used to watch free willy when I was 7-8 and rewound the bit with his song over and over and over. I cried and cried and cried. I ruined the tape. His other songs had similar effects. But I never truely knew who he was.
I listen to it now and I can feel the emotion exploding from his voice and the sound. It goes deep into me, into my heart and I felt this huge rush of energy and emotion when I listened. Who else could achieve this with a simple pop song?

WOW! This powerful song has shared Number ONE status in my Heart, along with "Black or White", since I heard it years ago. I still get emotional when it plays, & watching the video had me crying my eyes out! (esp.@Song Time 2:45). i remember this concert being on the beginning of the Free Willy VHS...damn time sure does fly by so fast never in a million years did i think Michael would have died this soon he was just so talented & tried to bring peace in the world this song is so beutiful it kinda speaks for how most people feel they want someone to be there for them.There will never be anyone like him he was a sweet human being that got tooken for granted & was musunderstood.

im glad nobody will ever touch michael in the music industry. I love Free Willy, it's one of my favorite movies...MJ did a great job with this song. It's beautiful, and one of my favorites. The whole way the song is performed is just very very touching, and relatable.
