  • Marlin for president! See you at the next round-up. Rubicon Rocks!

  • if thats 13th gear i wanna see 1st gear i bet it barely moves

  • @ismoketobacco Thanks for the comment. Here is Marlin's truck in 1st gear at 1,372:1: watch?v=nzk5IMZ11zY

  • hey i got an 86 Toyota long box with no rust and over 500,000KM's on it still runs grate

  • do you know what springs hes running and size tires????

  • @85runnerdice Yes I do :-) These are Marlin Crawler 4" springs made by Betts Spring Manufacturing. The tires are 37x12.50x15 Goodyear MTRs.

  • @Husoku oh right on i have 63 inch rear chev springs and all pro fronts on my runner :)

  • do you know what springs hes running and size tires???

  • This alone puts the rest to shame, I dont own a toyota and i know they ave been having problems lately but they are very easy fixes and even with the recalls, toyota still has top award winning engines. This crawler still has the stock toyota engine in it.

  • yeah but is it brushless?

  • Why take all 5the fun out of driving??? Why buy a car when you walk your truck over rocks? I would just sit in my rig.

  • amazing

  • Marlin Crawler is the tits!

  • It sure is fun to drive rock gardens in a geared machine, but so boring to view.

  • Thats a shame when your truck is so good it does not actually need you ;)

Cain wait till I can scrape the money together for a crawlbox for my runner. Maybe he will run a christmas special this year.

  • Thank you for your questions! It is very simple to build & install. What year and model is your truck? 4, 6, or 8 cyl? Basically there are two routes you can take: Double your low range section of your transfer case, or you can replace your stock low range gears with Marlin's 4.70:1 gear set. It really depends on your application in terms of what is available to you. I highly recommend Marlin's adapter since it is made in USA and his gear sets are made in Japan! Best quality and reliability!

  • i wanna see a video in 1st gear!!

  • Thanks for your comment! Search YouTube for "marlin crawler discussing ratios". It's a very short video but it shows how loooooooow 1,372:1 in a Toyota is!!!!

  • that number is just crazy!but anybody that know anyting about nissan know marlin crawler is the brand of choice!

  • Real men drive stick!

  • Fuck a ford ever wonder why you never see a ppos ford on the trail? CAUSE THERE NOT WORTH A FUCK!!!!

  • at least thay are not in bankruptcy...

  • You go the the MarlinCrawler website, noob.

  • Marlin has NEVER claimed to be the one who came up with the idea. But I guarantee countless thousands of people credit Marlin for putting the Toyota minitruck back on the map, and that was his dream when he invented his MC01 dual case adapter back in 1994. Thanks for the comment!

  • damn ghost ride da rock crawler lol

    now THATS a truck

  • i wonder what speed first gear would be then

  • i believe it is 1330.1

Which is sooooooooooo slow!!! ha, im puttin in my t-case right now

  • your lucky, did you get the marlin set up. i wanna do it to my 4runner

  • marlin crawler all the way....

  • good stuff man!

  • That was awesome, very nice Toyota!!!

  • "You're trying to climb in your passenger's rear..."

    AHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

  • hahahahaha!! I guess it would be really bad if he actually had a passenger in there with him baawahahahah!!! nice one!

  • Thanks, man. I'm glad you see the humor : >)

  • that awesome marlin! next time bump some tunes and dance on the hood. out here we call it ghost ridin tha whip.

  • that pretty sick!!!

can you do that with any 4x4 truck?

  • No-ho-ho, lol.

  • nice! but be careful. seen some legs and a body coming under a car while stepping out of a spinning drifter.

  • Thanks for the comment! Marlin has done this a lot and so far has not injured himself :) It's easy to do when we're going to slow. Remember, he is in 13th gear in this video!! Wow! If he was in 1st gear @ 1,372:1, then his truck would only be moving at 0.06 MPH!

  • It's nice to see people getting along on you tube once again. LOL. I love the stuff you guys have done with Toyota, but Marlin is slacking when I order my stuff. I just think that the customer should get their stuff in days not weeks. But then again, who else sells that stuff!

  • his truck is oh so nice and he sure can wheel makes me hate living on the east coast

  • GO MARLIN SEE YA AT HOTSPRINGS!

  • PhalanxSDA, if you would rather open/ close blinds than wheel, why do you post vids of 4runners on the trail? You're right, they are toys, albeit very fun toys, and wheeling is not for everyone. However, something about this vid perked your curiosity, or you would not have watched it!

  • Sarcasm...?

  • Ghostride the crawler!

  • impressive!!!... what's on that car to get those low low low numbers???

    triple t-case???

  • Yes, Marlin has had Triple Toyota Marlin Crawler Transfer cases in his Red 1980 "Crawler" Truck since 1995. You can see more of his truck on his website at Marlin Crawler.

  • thats cool

  • how big of tires

  • 37x12.50x15" Goodyear MTR.

  • thx

  • MEAN!!

  • Thanks for the responses guys!

  • very cool

  • That is sick!!

  • Awesome!

  • Wooooooooooooooooooooooooooow...that is pretty harsh. Good one though. I will probably use that someday soon.

  • I love rock crawling. It's better than nascar racing...OOOOOOOOOOOOOOH yeah I went there nascar fans...

  • Yeah!!!

  • Yes, I am sure that opening and closing blinds are more interesting then an Invention that has sold tens of thousands of units world wide in over 12 years. Go do something more useful with your time.

  • "and you take a pop at me for opening/closing blinds"

ha ha ha Get over it, and welcome to YouTube ;)

  • thanks toy truck boy, best of luck getting to 10 subscribers :)

  • jealous much?

  • yes..very jealous.LOL

  • very VERY jeolous of this, lol

  • Hella yes. Thank you, lol!

  • Very cool.

I see quite a few FJ Cruisers are now putting them in.

  • awesome!
