Apparently they don't like peppermint oil if you sprinkle it around your house. It seemed to do the trick around my house but the smell is a little overpowering and my man wasn't impressed with our house smelling like toothpaste, but if you are really scared of spiders (like me) that's a small price to pay! Haha
