  • Beautiful job Ed, as always!

  • @NikolajJakobsen Did you read the readme?

  • do you have a link where i can download this updated model f-27?? Cant find it? :(

  • Hey, Nice Video, How do you do that with the camera move effect on the panel?

  • @carros It is a Sony Vegas plugin motion effect by NewBlueFx called active camera. It is added post production.

  • another nice trip too click on full screen, seat back and relax watching !

  • Dude i really envy your sim, its amazing looks very very real, but the best part an actually the one i envy u, its u can fly IFR with the SIM ATC, how the heck you get that?, mine doesnt give-understand STARS, SID's, actually not even VOR app, just ILS and some of them.. Last time i flew was like 3 weeks ago MTY-IAH onboard of United-Continental, and i ended givingme my own Vectors to the runway hahaha, how sad it is.. Please need some advice from you.. And keep more videos comming please..

  • @sphyratiburo The FS waypoint, VOR,NDB etc database can be updated as can the Approach database. The best way to write a new Approach now is with ADE (Airport Design Editor). These days I write a new approach every time I fly. The FS guru Jim VIle taught me how to do this years ago and the knowledge has given my FS9 eternal life.

  • @edetroit Download ADE and learn how to write approaches (ILS, RNAV, VOR, DME ARCs ...you can write all of them) and you will transform your FS ATC experience for ever......and never fly vectors ever again.

  • @edetroit A little tip. If writing an approach just for FS ATC one can make it simpler and to suit you. What you want is the transition. A good example is the REDFA 1A in this flight. Usually the transition would be the IAF (initial approach fix) The IAF in the REDFA 1A is too far away from the airport so I made SPL (Schiphol VOR) the transition point. I wrote that at SPL I should be at 7000ft which is correct but FS ATC will say hold at 7000 until established on the ILS....continued next reply

  • @edetroit cont.... according to the ILS DME rwy 27 plate I should be 2000 ft until established so usually I make the transition point altitude the same as the altitude I should be when established on the ILS (I did not in this video). That way FS ATC says exactly what I want to hear.....and the bonus is it makes sure you start your decent early enough.

  • @edetroit thnx a lot imma start using ADE, btw how did you update the fs waypoints?

    Thanxs again bro'!

  • @sphyratiburo do you know by any chance how to update the Reality XP products database?

  • @sphyratiburo Google "reality xp navdata update"

  • @sphyratiburo Go here for starters hsors(dot)pagesperso-orange(dot)fr and to write them yourself go to fsdeveloper(dot)com you will find out how to do it there.

  • @edetroit thankyou soo much for your help, now im tryin' to introduce SID's, but dont now how i'll check it a fsdeveloper.. BTW i would love to see a video from you at Mexico, heres the link for the charts: mediafire(dot)com/?k58nik9v9hwx3f8 thanx again bro..

  • @sphyratiburo Hello again, the problem with SID's are the altitude constraints. FS ATC cannot do them so best thing to do is acknowledge the change from tower to departure frequency but do not contact them until you have passed your altitude constraint (if you have any). Otherwise SID's are easy as you just write the waypoints of the SID into your FS flightplan and FS ATC will direct you correctly. (of course if the waypoints do not exist you need to write them).

  • @edetroit Download and install the BGLComp SDK. You will find this at FSdeveloper.

  • @edetroit Check this post: forum(dot)avsim(dot)net/topic/252717-fs9-flight-planner

  • Is that radar functional? Just curious.

  • @macsm Damn right it is... it does ground contours radar as well weather radar and more!.

Where does it come from?....the Ruskies of course. It is the Groza radar that comes with the excellent PT IL-62.

  • @edetroit I should add that I have changed the look of the groza radar. You could use the Reality-XP weather radar (seen it in a few F27 cockpits) but I prefer the groza....it looks really nice and older. lol

  • We certainly appreciate the hard work that goes into the videos, Ed....great stuff!

  • hey bro, awesome video again, btw a beta of AES 2.2 is available @aerosoft, it contains a bit more detailed ground cars

  • Beautiful Video Ed!! Keep up the great work.

  • Nice!

  • Love the vid, Ed. Always gives me something to look forward to when I go on YouTube.

  • @rimshot74 My pleasure. I wish I could be happy with just taking some screenshots as the vids are a lot of work...... but one cannot hear the engines in screenshots.... so I will keep on.

  • WELL DONE!!!! =)

Are the livery on avsim yet? :)

  • @NikolajJakobsen Not yet I had to check the nightlighting. I will upload it on Sunday 11th to avsim.
