i have one of these helis and my back propeller wont spin how do i know if its my motor or the thing that sends the singnal can someone help please im new?!?!?
@frostxr did you trim it back all the way. and also there is manual trim generally on the servos you can twist a plastic cover like thing to make it longer or shorter thus manually trimming it.
ive never crashed mine before, still flying great, they are great helicopters for beginners, but only for indoors, if you are going to fly outdoors please take in mind the speed of the wind, even with a slight breeze it will make you crash, i love this helicopter...
i am thinking of getting my first rc helicopter. is this one a good one to start out with? if so, can i get replacement parts at my local hobby shop? and if not, which one would you recommend? i am thinking of sticking around 100 bucks.
Why don't any of these videos show the falcon actually FLYING? All they do is hover. I want to see how fast you can fly forward and back. Do some figure 8's or something.
they may say the vid is dumb, but grats on the flying skills these things r so easy to break that i gave up. i got to where i could hover like the vid but everytime it hits the ground it breaks. i cant spend that kind of money just to play with it for 10 mins every couple of weeks
.... i know those landing skids are cheap plastic sticks that break, you should consider getting a heli that has a better more durable landing skid, like the exceed RC eagle 50 that i own, i drop it down hard and the landing skid is very flexible and durable that it doesnt break like these cheap falcons... try it out
i was triyng out my falcon 40 and i notized the conrols were inverted when i pushed the right stick forward it went backward and the same happened with moving side to side what should i do
This is one of the worst demo videos I have EVER seen. 10 minutes of hovering with flash frames of PRODUCT PLACEMENT?!!?!?!? kill yourself you idiot... and your mom while your at it you Freudian asshole.
It's harder than it looks. Trust me, I know. I bought one, thinking it would be easy to learn on. I ended up putting it on the shelf and learning on a Coco Lama V3. A couple of my friends tried it. The only controls they knew were throttle and rudder. When they pushed forward and used ailerons he dropped the transmitter because he didn't know heli's could do that.
Maybe you can help me. I need to replace my flybar, but I don't see how to disassemble the pieces without breaking them. I don't want to destroy the whole rotorhead. What tools will get the flybar out of the rotorhead without breaking it?
heh. its all practice. but i HIGHLY recomend learning indoors. but once you get like 3 hours of flight in something just clicks and u know controls like the back of your hands. and be careful, with this model the servos are WAY easey to break. i broke both mine eventually lol now im waiting for parts. but just spend your first flights on the ground and trim before you go up. good luck :D
the deal with the falcon is its virtually unbreakable. you're looking at a price around $180. but the only annoying thing is that the tail rotor pops off if you crash. but it comes off alot right when you're starting the flight. so as you throttle up just turn right to keep the tail rotor spinning. once the main rotor gains power you can stop :) i just got one and i love it. also its best to charge it as soon as u get it even tho it says its partially charged.
I got a falcon 40 too, first it was fine, and now at takeoff, it goes backwards and to the left, I tried to adjust the trim but doesn't do anything. What can I do about it?
Hey, I am thinking about getting an RC heli. It's either gunna be the Falcon 40 or the Lama v3. I know that a Co-Axial is much easier to fly than a single rotor, but exactly how hard is it to learn on a single rotor? Im 16 and a pretty fast learner. I don't wanna buy the Lama v3 if I will immediately become bored with it. What do you think? Could I learn on the Falcon 40 or must I begin with the Co-Axial?
i fly a eagle 50 outside every chance i get its a big challenge but it makes me a better piliot and when i get indors it limets my skill lets see some outdor skills
i want to get my first heli and im looking for that I can learn the best from. Ive done a little research and im dbating between the falson 40 or the eagle 50. which one is better for my first flight.
Definitely the Falcon, stay away from collective pitch till you can hover and feel comfy holding the transmitter. You need to be able to fly and flick a switch at th same time, so you need to feel comfy using the gear. That comes with time and practice. have you tried a Coaxial heli ?? Good luck.
A long video, reallly long...., but it looks like a stable machine. Was this your first heli or did you try a CoAxial first. I really want to get a FP and this is one of the ones Im looking at. One other thing, crashes, expensive parts and how hard to getB ???? Thanks.
what causes it to spin around like that when u said oh my? where u just turning it or was something wrong with it? how would you fix it if there was something wrong?
rather boring after a wuile but interesting you should put a miniatur camera on it and fly the neighborhood i have a bee one and you always have to adjust after every flight
I bought a falcon 40 and i can not keep it straight for nothing is there any tips you can give me. when i bring the helicopter up it just go's everywhere i can't keep control of it.
try to just quickly take off giving no direction at all, even if you think itll crash, and then land it, obviously now using the controlers, and trim it the opposite way it went when you took off. This will take quite a while to get it right, but once its nearly perfect(impossible to be perfect) it will be much easier. With mine, i can take my hands of the controller for about 10 seconds, and it flies on its own. Its all about trimming dude...
Pretty stable for a single rotor heli! :D

Parts for this are easy to find. You can also use walkera 4 parts. This is a good heli, but a co-axel would be much easier to fly.

It'a very nervous machine and hard to control.
You do that very well. I would use a landing gear until I could ground it safely.
