lol, why do people go on about cleaning? its them cleaning it not you so you have nuthing to worry about pluss the hamster has a good life in a big cage instead of a tiny little starter kit all through its life lol, my hamster cage is huge, takes about an hour and half to fully clean it and the hamster is happy :)

1 if they were stressed they would be running around looking scared

2 they choose to roam and go into a spare cage by themselves

3 they are quite happy to still eat, drink and sleep while out which they wouldn't do if scared or stressed

4 they still play with each other and toys while out which they wouldn't do while scared or stressed

so i'm not arguing, i'm just saying mine never seem stressed, some might but never seen it in my own pets,
