  • Where can I buy this documentary on DVD?

  • wow... the innovators... cool!

  • alchemists all...thanks..

  • Very sad to hear that Tristram Cary died last week (23 Aug 2008) - I urge interested listeners to check out his anthology double-CD 'Soundings: 1955-1996' (TP139 Tall Poppies, Australia). It really is the most remarkable record.

  • I will check it out. Thank-you for the information about Tristram Cary's CD.

  • is it possible to post the whole doco on here

  • someone has posted the whole film. Search under Tristram Cary

  • Thanks a lot, I'm not sure but I don't think Tristram wrote the theme for doctor who, and do you own an EMS

  • Cary didn't write the theme for Doctor Who, that was Delia Derbyshire doing an electronic version of someones original score, but he did create incidental music used in early episodes :)

  • EMS... simply awesome..... otherworldy sounds.

  • Yeah, for the old skool... :)

  • Wow!

This was just on TV (in Australia). What an interesting doco.

So cool to see the early trippers experimenting with sound.

  • If this looks interesting, track down the documentary "Radiophonic Workshop: Alchemists of Sound". There's a three part break down of it on YouTube.

  • Hmm...this could be mind blowing (BOOOOOOM!)

  • incredibly cool

  • when will we see this film in the united states? Looks great!

  • Marvellous ! can't wait to watch the film !!!
