Peter Was a Great guy,he truly spoke from the heart.I first met him at Mendocino center, he came walking up to me with a big grin, shook my hand, then proceeded to roll that one sleeve up and he started to tell me about the back country trails program and said i had been referred to him by a supervisor, said think you can do it? I said sure can ! he then gave me a choice so i picked Yosemite (93). No doubt that Peter Lewis will be missed by those who knew him and those who know of him. Bryan Quick

What a great video. Did you see those "perfect" step rocks? Oh how I miss rockwork and the trail community. I was fortunate enough to be a part of the 1995 Yosemite N.P. crew and still keep in touch with people that were on my crew way back when. The Backcountry Trail program was one of the highlights of my life and I will never forget it. Peter, thank you for having that that phone conversation with me that convinced me that I belonged there.
