  • what up with the gay music

  • kool

  • I think they got rid of the EC2s and replaced them with the EC2 SSTs... but now they're just called EC2s.. I've had both versions and they're both about the same

  • Are all the EC2's the same as EC2 STT's?

  • Do you like those snare heads I was looking at em what do u think abt them?

  • @eliruben123 honestly... they arent the best for my playing style... which is mostly jazz. they get a decent snare sound and could be ok for rock, but they arent articulate enough for me. I do keep the ec pwr cen rev dot on the side snare though, because I just pound on that thing

    lol

  • that China! O.O

  • oh yeah i saw those blink 182 books!!!!

  • how do u like ur Mapex M Birch and why? i want to know because i might buy one

  • @xdrumer4 they have changed since I bought mine, but I really like them... I think they can be suitable for any style of music with the right head combinations (look at chris adler and gregg bissonette) personally I would save up and get the mapex saturns cause they'll last you a lifetime! but definitely go with mapex in my opinion. Way better than Pearl, Tama, and all that jazz... maybe on the same level as DWs but cheaper in general

GO MAPEX oh and I like the snares and hardware on my kit

  • PDP instead of Mapex? that's new...

  • @Pandanobear yeah lol

I have DWs now... this is kinda an old video

  • Nice, all you need is some nicer cymbals(and maybe a double pedal) and that kit is freakin' king. May I suggest A customs.

  • Whats the maiden song in the background?

  • Deja vu

  • how much diid you pay 4 the zil bell

  • i love ur drum set

  • Hey buddy, the holder for your cowbell [this may be a stupid question to some], did it come with the cowbell or with the kit or did it come separately?

  • nice set. zbts gotta go tho.

  • why the porn like song in the back ground haha jk

  • @ramonbunny69 its iron maiden fuckin idiot

  • @anayaedgar fuck you....i listen to hardcore mother fucker ....got fuck your mom ......you listen to gay music!!!

  • @ramonbunny69 dude, iron maiden's awesome, and one of the most famous bands in the world, definitely not 'gay music'...

  • @HandPeopleHandPeople true dude .....i mean i listen to about every thing dude soorry

  • @ramonbunny69 no problem, but i do admit that the music quality on this video isn't top notch, he probably recorded while playing it out of a speaker

  • how do u like the frosted ec2 tom heads

  • did you buy the stealth block of musicians friend? if so, did it come with the holder?

  • yes and yes

  • do you suggest the ec2s for a metallica/iron maiden sound?

do you suggest the ec snare head for a metallica/iron maiden sound?

  • y zbt

  • yeah agree why?

  • They are not THAT bad, I have only a 20 inch ZBT ride, and it has a beautiful sound(Of course, if you wear headphones to not go deaf)

  • im gettin that kit just wanted to no if you gig with it and if so is it any good

  • i've played a couple shows with it... and its a great kit

  • UP THE IRONS! DEJAVU!

  • would you recommend getting the coated ec2 ?

  • yeah... i like them, but i dont know what kind of sound you're looking for

  • hi me again :)

what kind of snare skin (place where you hit it xD ??? i don't know the word in english) is that?? looks special

  • its called the "head" in english =]

also its a type of evans, i dont know which.

  • thank you for this answer^^

  • the head is called a EC evans or something but its an awesome head

  • the skin that you hit is also known as the "batter" head.

  • A fellow Evans man, good deal. That side snare is a thing of BEAUTY man. Has your EMAD Reso foam ring fallen apart yet? BOTH of mine have (I'd STILL endorse Evans though!)

  • yeah... both of them ripped

  • I heard they're working on making them more durable, but i dont know if it will matter to me, I found a solution. I have 2 EQ pads, one thick end on the batter other on the reso...THUMP! I was scared it would over muffle...nope.

  • My EMAD foam rings fell apart too. I just put a small bead of a glue called goop. On both sides of the of the head and firm ring holding up great Now. The reso head was moving faster than the foam ring would and would rip right through it.

  • Nice KIT man!!

  • the 18" crash is my least fav. of the three... but i personally hate zbts... save up for better cymbals and don't waste your money on zbts

  • Nice kit, I have the same heads on my toms too. By the way what iron maiden song is that?

  • deja vu

  • buena canción |m|

  • how much would you sell your kit for?

    please reply.

  • i wasnt going to sell the whole kit, just the drums, and i dont think im going to sell it anymore... you can get the same drum kit really cheap these days

  • im getting this set soon!!!!

    sweet A7X poster.

  • how much would you sell the kit for?

  • I'm getting new drumheads for christmas and the drummer of my band recommended me Evans EMAD for bass. What do you think of it as a bass drum head?

  • if you're talking about the batter head... get emad 2... those are really good heads imo

if you're talking about the front head... emad s good, but eventually the little foam ring tears from the vibration

i recommend the emad or an ec3 for the front head and and emad 2 for the batter

  • Oh okay, thanks alot. I'll check those ones too before buying anything.

  • i have emad 2 batter heads on my bass, they sound great

  • kickass drumset!!

    but no double pedal?!?!

    whats up with that?!?!?

    come on!!

and the ZBT ...the ZXT is alot better..

    nice Z

but its all about the A custom

overall nice set wouldnt mind my drumset having the extras

  • how do the ec2's sound? im thinking of getting some.

    thanks.

  • i really like how they sound

  • IRON MAIDEN!!

i could tell it was iron maiden right when it started. lol

  • Why do you have a Z Custom China with ZBT's?

  • a Z Custom China? You bastard!

  • how are those ZBTs i think i might get some but i want to know if there worth it?

  • They suck. Go pro, used. You won't regret it.

  • if you can afford any cast cymbals and avoid sheet made, buy them...

in the very least get cast hats and hopefully ride and them get decent budget crashes like ZXTs

  • haha why is your china upside down ? or am i just seeing things ?

  • Thats how a china goes on

  • a china is supposed to be that way.

  • actually a china can go either way but most people prefer it that way.

  • Say man...how's that aluminum snare sound with the EC head on it? I have the same snare...been thinking about trying an EC on it. Love 'em on my toms

  • i like them on my toms too, but its sounds terrible on the snare... dont get it... try an evans power center, or genera dry, or genera HD dry... something white and coated...the ec sounds pretty bad in my opinion

  • That's what I use now, an HD Dry. Thanks for the reply...you just saved me about 15 bucks.

  • im a player as well as drum tech and i love the whole EC series... but ive found the EC snare heads dont mix well with metal snares at all, unless theyre the thick walled type, like solid cast shells... and you should only touch the EC revdot if you play a thick wood snare or you play obnoxiously hard...

the best metal shell snare head IMO is the powercenter reverse dot, its just very responsive to the way metal shells work...

  • YEs...I've had great results with PC heads too.

  • its the perfect head for a more ringy snare... theyre great for metal because in essnece theyre just G1s with that dot... but its just an even and balanced response you can just let the shell material speak for itself tone colourwise... and if the ring needs to be controlled for close miced situations its perfectly gated with a studio ring w/o sounding dead...

  • believe it or not, I've also used the plain old 1ply Terry Bozzio coated head on the aluminum snare. It turned out great. You should check that out some time.

  • what happened to dw 7000?

  • This video rocksssSSsSsS!!!really awsome set :-)

  • awsome set

  • lol. zldjian ZBT :D

  • birthday present?

  • yeah

  • love your drumset!
