Yardena recall the way it was announced to her that she will preform the Israeli ESC entry 1988...

She recall: "While performing a concert in Haifa, Rafi Ginat went backstage and told me there is not going to be any pre Eurovision contest this year. I said "Great, what a big idea".... and he suddenly declare that this year IBA decided to send you Yardena...I defently refused, no Eurovision anymore!...but when he said, "well, so lets send Ofra instead" I immidiatly agreed, "I am going!" ....

זו סתם הלצה. ירדנה היא בנאדם מדהים והיא פירגנה לעופרה חזה. זה רק המעריצים ושאר מזרחים "מקופחים" שליבו את השד העדתי,

אוי באמת. אם הסיבה היחידה שירדנה נסעה לארווזיון ב 1988 זה רק כדי שלא ישלחו את עפרה חזה בפעם השניה, אז זה פשוט עלוב.
