  • Is coyote some sort of wolf or dog?

  • These members of the dog family once lived primarily in open prairies and deserts, but now roam the continent's forests and mountains. They have even colonized cities like Los Angeles, and are now found over most of North America. Coyote populations are likely at an all-time high.

  • I probably should not have responded to the offbase comment from ladymeserole, but it really took me by surprise. I have never had a negative comment posted regarding any of my online videos posted over the past couple years. I get wildlife professionals to review content frequently to make sure none of my work contains errors. So I should have let the comment pass, undeserving of a response. Sorry everyone.

  • Sorry ladymeserole...I live with these critters, and this was most definitely not a fight. The posturing by the female showed mating behavior that is typical and observed frequently during the mating season. I filmed more of the same with another mating pair last month. My brief description of the video content used the words "fun in the snow" to represent canine foreplay, which is what was really happening. Do you want me to post the actual hookup sequence? Check Bobcat Love video...same deal.

  • ur an idiot-- they are fighting for territory!!!! dont u know anything? when they were fighting, the ears on both coyotes were laid back and their teeth were showing when their mouths were closed. Durrr!!!!
