Why all this disrespect towards Morris? He's one of the most brilliant political strategists in the world today. Not to mention that he's objective - the guy worked for CLINTON so he has experience on both sides of the aisle.
Not to mention that his analysis is absolutely amazing.
I guess Bill owes Dick dinner now, The other day Rasmussen had Huckabee at 10% nationally and now he is at 12%, ahead of Romney who has 11%. Sounds like Dick's getting free dinner to me.
Fox News continues its campaign to bolster Hillary Clinton's electoral prospects against the other Democratic candidates because they believe she is the only opponent Republicans have a fair chance at beating. You never see this sort of coverage from Fox News of the Republican field. Just more Fox SMOKE AND MIRRORS.
Are you telling me that Hillary is easier to beat than Dumbass Kucinich or Mike Gravel who have pieces of shit for brains? Or how about Obama who's afraid of confrontation? Wise up.
What is the point of even bring up Kucinich or Gravel. They are so clearly unelectable in the Democratic primaries, let alone the general election, because of their far-left views, they are NON-FACTORS in the 2008 election. And I see you dogging on Obama, like the Republicans often do. I think it's because they are afraid of him. He has that politics of hope quality that Reagan had, and Republicans know is unbeatable, particularly in a general election.
I think O'Reilly should have to pucker those lips and kiss Dick Morris'es buttox. lol. Huckabee is moving up the ladder pretty fast now. He is a solid, genuine and capable candidate. VOTE FOR MIKE HUCKABEE, WHITE HOUSE 2008!!
PS-- I love how Bill O'Reilly blatantly said that Mike Huckabee had no chance about three months ago. This is hilarious to me.
too much of the GOP won't vote for him. He may have the most loyal supporters, but since you cant go to other states to vote or change your IP address 500 times, Paul can't win.
Yeah Paul can't win, and even if he did, we'd still be in Iraq for ten years. No matter who the president is, we WILL be in Iraq for at least ten years.
I dont consider myself christian right in the least and he has my vote. I also have a friend who's an african american democrat and he's voting for him simply because he was the only one that had the guts to attend the debates on minorities.
yeah, and Ron Paul's voter attraction is so high he doesn't even get a mention in any REAL poles lol Get real...Ron Paul is the equivalent to the democrats' Dennis Kucinich. Both of their campaigns are little more than a sideshow distraction.
The standard polls are very inaccurate. Some don't even mention his name as a choice, and sample a small number of the 6.6% of Republicans who voted in the primaries for Bush during that cycle. The standard polls are biased, and not designed to measure an outsider's support. The straw and online polls, donations and enthusiasm of his supporters are a better gauge. A high % of RP supporters will show at the primaries and overcome a candidate who has better showing in the polls.
I don't expect him to come in last, maybe third in Iowa and do much better in NH.
He also doesn't show up on the polls because support is not from the Bush Republicans, but Democratics, Libertarians, Independents (44% in NH) and disenfranchised Republicans, new voters, a diverse crowd. Money talks. He has raised about 20 million in the last 3 months, more I believe than any other Republican polling much higher.
I think he will finish 5th in Iowa, and possibly 3rd in NH. If he does really well in Iowa, which I think is his best chance to make a "splash" he will be taken more seriously. I just dont think the republican party would ever ever nominate an isolationist. He would do better as a 3rd party candidate, though as a republican I hope he doesn't do that. Best of luck to you though!
I've been watching the economy for sometime now, fearful of a serious recession and long before running into Ron Paul. He is exactly right. The dollar lost 1% yesterday. It's below the support level and ready to dive much lower, perhaps as much as 40% in next year or so. This means hyper price inflation and the middle class will become poor. The economy is all Ron Paul's. It should be clear in a few months that we cannot even afford the war.
Even though he polled at 2%, he beat Guilani and Hunter with 10%. 4th is not bad! Huckabee was expected to win. Iowa is 60% Christian. New Hampshire is 44% Independent.

So once again Morris is wrong in all count, why I am not surprised?
These are same analists that assured the vise president that we will be recieved as liberators.
Next time Bill shuld tell him HOT UP, and stop making prediction, instead prepera a public apology to Obama.
Dick Morris is just another FoxNews intellectual pundit moron, that tells Foxs what they want to hear so that he keeps getting invited.

The RCP poll averages shows that Huckabee is at 20.5 percent nationally. Giuliani is at 22.8 percent. Just a little more.

All candidates like Clinton, Giuliani, and Romney have to offer is a politics of fear. And we know Republicans do fear much better than Democrats.

Huckabee doesn't have the funds nor framework to go the way. Surprised Ron Paul wasn't mentioned at all as a possible spoiler.

It's funny you say that because Huckabee has doubled his campaign contributions in only the last two weeks and is up 1200% from just July!!

I still don't think he'd attract any voters outside of the Christian Right.
