I'm making the Crysis 2 Forest in Cryengine 3 SDK and while you have everything placed and made really well, cryengine 2 just cannot do justice to the scene. Props though, you really did do a great job.

@sbk180tr I have had an issue with ATI drivers / software once. I have had many ATI cards and many nvidia cards and each has their flaws, not one is better then the other. There are times when one out performs the other with their high end GPU's but then the other comes out with something new and bigger

@rockrl98 Ummmmm.... ATI, if I recall from experience, has an overheating problem moreso than NVIDIA. ATI also is slightly more expensive for 1-2 fps higher average (and no support for PHYSX, which isn't that great anyway) and it uses much more power.

@jpmac098 nvidia i think has had huge problems with its 580s overheating like a bitch. so no need to be a fan boy. besides nvidia do the best stand alone card which is the gtx580 while if you want multiple cards in your machine then go ati because they do it better. especially since it has been proven that if you run three gtx580 in your machine it will be slower than 2 while that is no where near the case in ati's cards. and the 6990 running crossfire is faster than gtx580 sli

@xremdog29x Yes they may have a problem with 580s because Nvidia's stock coolers SUCK, but ATI coolers are no better. And ATI is more expensive and uses more power, but the frame rate increase is barely better.

@jpmac098 Have you looked at recent benchmarks? nvidia does have Phys-x but ati has eyefinity which is a hell of a lot more useful.. It's not so much a matter of which company makes a more powerful single GPU card, it's a matter of dollar per FPS

Yes, you got two for the price of one GTX 560, but with 2 of them it should only just perform at the GTX 560's level, because juding by benchmarks the 5830 is half the GTX 560's performance, and crossfire doesn't even double performance(nor does SLI). According to Tom's Hardware and hwcompare the gtx 560 gets 71.6/105.2 fps in BC2, whereas the 5830 gets 35 fps.

In bc2 maxed out 100% i get way higher then 35fps @ 1080p... lol, no of course the 560 is more powerful, the 460 is even a little bit more powerful but in crossfire these 5830's score higher in unigines benchmark score, I score around 1400, I saw my same i7 system with a 560 ti get around 1000 I believe.

@jpmac098 Nvidia cards use way more power, to run higher end geforce cards you need a lot more amps and watts. Especially the fermi 400 series cards.. I am running 2 5830's in crossfire with a corsair 650 watt psu just perfectly safe, stable and fine.

There is no gameplay in a forest, i've played the entire game, there are also no north koreans in crysis 2 (there are in crysis). In crysis 2 when you use power the suit turns blue, not red. I could go on about how many easy to spot giveaways there are in this video (that's obviously a ploy to lure people in and get hits), but i dont think I have to. Maybe you should have put some in some thought before you released it, it would be better if you hadn't insulted our intelligence by not trying.

crysis can't use more then 3 or 4 cores as long as the processor you have in your computer isn't at 100% your fine. A phenom ii x6 is way overkill for crysis if you can't max out crysis it because of the gpu not the cpu those old amd still pull their weight.
