Supercharged Trans Am vs gsxr1000

If that gsx r 1000 ever decide to lay on the throttle that t/a would have been dust ,lets keep it honest .That bike is a high 9 second bike and that t/a is lucky to see low 13s.We are talking a bout a 40 to 50 car length stretch here.

bike was just trying to get a breeze lol... no doubt it woulda blown away the car. but acceleration-wise, just goes to show how strong a good old BIG BORE is. yaya i know the bike probably wasnt even trying. still, u gotta admit... something that weighs nearly a ton and a half and can still push your head into the seat is something to admire or respect.

Did anyone notice he wasn't even doing close to 140 when the camera guy looked over at the speedo after that pathetic excuse of a run?Nice try queer,we know your T/A is stock with some white face gauges.If you had any type of un-natural aspiration(a.k.a. turbo/supercharger),you'd be goin through them gears twice as fast as it sounded.no boost gauges,turbo timers,any type of electronic device telling you how your car is performing?Hmmmm....something'­s fishy!

@mattsrepair10 i also had an 02 Camaro Z28.. and im saying if you let off the throttle at high Speeds you slow down quicker because of wind resistance.. so when the Camera looks at the Speedo hes slowing down from 140.. you can't coast at 140 with out throttle. ruffle my feathers? no. but don't be so quick to call bullshit when you don't take all the factors into account..

never really beat the bike since the guy on the Thunderrace didnt know what was happening... however the yamaha Thunderrace aint a quick bike compared to the 1000's a GSXR 600 would probably be quicker... if it was a GSXR 1000 he was racing i seriously doubt he'd win

The biker pulls an accleration wheelie then has to imediately judge the speed of the car in front of him and change lanes to the right to avoid it. The car only had to drive straight ahead. The bike is faster but you can not always just pin it to win it, you have to be sure the road is clear before you can go full throttle because your reaction time is cut so short at high speeds. Clearly the biker was not at max acceleration as long as the car was.

Post of vid of you going 140 on a street bike tough guy. I raced motorcycles for 10 years. No, I was never a pro. I gained the knowledge of what you risk going fast on a bike and what happens when you lay it down. Going 140 in a car is easy any 14 year old can do it. Riding a high performance street bike takes balls. You got none.

no way... something just doesnt seem right. you only got to 140mph and that bike didnt beat you? i had an '04 gsxr600 and from 90mph, id get to 140mph in about 3-4 seconds. either that bike has something wrong with it, the guy sucks ass at driving, or he was just toying with you

@speeddemon0712 It's a twin turbo. It will beat a liter bike no problem. And that's not a gsxr it's a Thunderace. Both car and bike sick for sure, but no doubt the twin turbo will beat a liter bike. The Thunderace will run mid to low 10's, and most twin turbo ls1 setups will put out enough to get mid to high 9's.
