  • Top class!

  • Absolutely Top Line..

  • NICE flavor!

  • Great group!! Great performance!! Bravi tutti!!!

  • 0:35

  • Eh..this song in a jazz format doesn't appeal to me.

  • this is amazing!!! they are the best group ever!!

  • Darmon is a sax player--Plays a MEAN EWI solo on a NYV track "The Sultan Fainted." It also appears he did the arrangement of this one here. What a great performance! These would be REAL musicians here.

  • It sees at once that Darmon Meader is instrumentalist in his background.

  • excellent, incredible

  • haha 3:33...trumpet fingerings on the mic :)

  • This is called quality vocal jazz!!!!

  • That´s Music .......without words...speachless!

  • Being a part-time arranger for an eight piece jazz band and loyal fan of the New York Voices, I must say this is may favorite performance. Darmon Meader is a great arranger and this chart really swings. Keep up the great work. FS Capek

  • I did a wedding today. We finished with this song.

So it stuck in my head to the extent where I had to look it up on YouTube.

    Wow!

    What a treat!

  • the #11 chord at the end felt kinda superfluous.

  • @george0t your comment feels kinda superfluous, you pretentious twit

  • @unorgurlzball My comment wasn't intended to be pretentious, you assumptive fuck. I was expressing my opinion.

  • @george0t well good morning to you too, pretentious a-hole

  • What a strange response?

  • @george0t

I suppose you would have ended on the tonic.

  • @jazzx251 Yup. I would have stayed on the F minor. I think the song would have ended more smoothly that way. Nevertheless, the arrangement and the performance are pretty smooth as they are. Definitely one of my favorite NYV tunes.
