Looks good, but you need to drop in the 4v motor like out of the cobra or 03-04 mach 1. That will wake it up.

well the one in the mach 1 had the 429 cobra jet and they are bad ass

4v swaps are a bitch. 99-01 cobras had the same motor as a mach 1. 03-04 cobras had a eaton s/c on the 4v.

hey man great car i got 1 but you should if your trying to get more performance and sound out of the exaust have a mechanic hollow out your muffler (remove cat converters) forces more air threw the exaust less delay as well...

If you want your GT to sound like that, get an offroad X pipe, and find an intake and exhaust off of a BULLITT

I love the sound. a guy here in Indy sounds similar but he has O/R prochamber and magnaflow CB im not sure if it is maganapacks or just the regular mufflers but it sounds lowd and awesome im pretty sure its maganapacks cause of the loudness. and its not to poppy either because of the prochamber

It's not because of the prochamber, it's because of his tune. The poppy noise is just un=-burnt fuel burning up in the exhaust. Any exhaust can do it if it running rich.

nice sound..i have a bullitt too and i have the offroad x pipe with magnaflow catbacks..and i love it even on the highway..but i have 4.10 gears in mine so cruising at 70 on the xpress way im still revving pretty high..what number is your bullitt? and i hated the BBK cold air intake and i switched to JLT, its awesome

Yeah, I just switched to the JLT too. Definitely makes more of a difference than I thought it would. I have magnapacks on my Bullitt and I love them! I have my 4.10s, but I haven't gotten them installed yet. My clip is on here somewhere.

Hey if you don't mind me asking, what mods do you have done to it? Also what is your full exhaust setup from your headers all the way to the exhaust tips?? Only reason I ask is because I love the sound, and want my 02 GT to sound similar to that. Thanks in advance.

Its cool, thanks for your interest. I have BBK Cold air intake, BBK underdrive pulleys, BBK Ceramic coated equal length headers, pace setter off road h pipe, flowmaster cat back, magnaflow 3.5 inch tips, gears, chip and othe random odds and ends

Ok thanks. I wish I could get the off road h or x pipe, but my car wouldn't pass NY State inspection. Hows the exhaust at highway speeds?? Sound loud & mean?? Or does it drone out?? Only reason I ask is cause iv'e heard some say that flowmasters have bad drone sometimes at higher speeds & higher rpms. Thanks again.

Hey, yeah i only drive my car 3,000 miles a year and if you drive less than 5,000 miles a year your emissions exempt in PA. Yeah it kinda drones out, but its so fucking obnoxious cuz of the off road h pipe that it still has some tone to it ya know?
