If the Trinity is a theological fact and represents the truth from God, surely Jesus would have introduced it to his audience. He had ample opportunity. He would have said something like “Hear O Israel! The Father is God, the Son is God, the Holy Spirit is God, but they are not three Gods but one God”. Did he? NO!
Instead he reasserted the absolute and indivisible unity of God who is One and Only (Mark 12:29 c.f. Deut 6:4). What does that tell you?
@AbrahamicMovement I believe: The Bible is inerrant. God is not a human. Christ is purely human. Immortality is conditional. Water baptism is essential. Spiritual manifestations must be scientifically proven before accepted as such. Humans did not evolve from a different species. Jesus was born of a virgin. Jesus did not personally pre-exist his birth. Before when I was a Trinitarian I thought this meant that even though God is one he is also a mediator. Basically I had no idea.
