KYA in the 1960's and early 70's were the main rival station to KFRC dunno when you got out here from N.Y. so you might not have heard of them. KYA was at 1260 A.M. They now play all kinds of cool stuff on line that you won't hear on a commercial station, they even play the old commercials.
@dcrimmen Very cool, thanks for turning me on to the online station. I knew of KFRC, and now there's an FM 103.7 station that plays stuff from the 60s, 70s and on.
@dcrimmen Really! What is KYA, is that an oldies station? How did Gary come across this video, did you turn him on to it? Thanks Dave, yes, OOOO! is in order as it is a macho riff. Roy went out a good way with The Traveling Wilburys, being his last work, eh?!
KYA is now an on line oldies station and Gary pretty much runs it. I met Gary on Facebook and the station had a facebook "Fan" page that you can "Like" and get the link to listen on line. Apparently he knows someone named Roy who knows you because he mentioned it in the comment when he shared you video. Cool eh? :-)
Dry Beefy kit? That'd basically be a Beef Jerky kit then? :-) I have to complement you on your fastidious sound selection, the kit always sounds exactly right for the music.
@rennieallen Yes, that's right, Beef Jerky kit, :D Thanks it's good to see the effort I put into pre-production is appreciated by others. Looking forward to using the new improved Steven Slate Drums.
Superb cover! I was never quite sure if the kickdrum was played before but I think your cover is as close to the recording as possible. Thanks for the video!
Just discovered your channel and love your covers. I am 46 and just started playing the drums 3 years ago and I am hooked. I have gotten a lot of good info from youtube. Thanks for sharing.
@41966mark Thanks. I'm not sure about that now that you mention it, though I was playing one softly, but on the recording it either isn't there or it's low in the mix.
@luisxI1 I did too, but as I was covering another song the sound of the snare on a drum kit I was using reminded me of this song, so I just turned on the camera.
EXELENTE EXELENTE!!!!!! :-D :-)

@PornographicSoul Thanks. Have you heard the original recording? I don't think there is even a kick played on it.
