Umbrella is extremely vague on their prime directives in this movie series. So far in Extinction, all I can see is that now their a utopia organization from whatever's happening in the world with motivations only for evil, T-virus experiments, cloning Alice, trying to kill or capture Alice and kill the rest of humanity in general. God, what a weird movie series.

see thats the problem u kno too much about the game which is not a bad thing at all. i like the game but half of america doesnt. they tried to bring characters to life than focus on facts. that takes too much time or they could of hired u for your input..hmm. either way they got lazier with the story plot. milla is still hott.

@beautyismeonlyme True enough XD.Still, the movie even manages not to be consistent with itself.I mean, besides Jovovich's character, RE 4 is as accurate to the other 3 movies as those are to the games.Anyway, I wonder how come the game wouldn't be better known in America, since here in Romania lots of people played it :D

@beautyismeonlyme just hav to say that almost any movie based in a game has never been acurate ever but george romero who directed the original dawn of the dead wrote a script for Resident Evil and it was pretty acurate to the games with its own problems lik there being no bravo team and chris isnt in stars but its actually really good and if it was released now i'd pay to see it id recommend it to anyone who really enjoys the games

@meg5493 Well, coincidentally or not, almost all game to movie adaptations were directed and or/ written by Paul W.S. Anderson. (like Super Mario Brothers, Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter etc.) However, you are right about Romero's script. I fail to understand why they choose Anderson's version over Romero's, but whatever, I guess that's the way Hollywood works nowdays...

@beautyismeonlyme I don't really think so...First of all, both Carlos and Jill barely ressemble anything from the games.Second, the movie plot is stupid, because given the fact that the T-Virus is airborne (remember how it infects the workers at the lab in movie one?) when the Umbrella team enters the Hive in the first movie they should all have been zombiefied.And last but not least, since when does the T-Virus give people super-powers? Sorry Hollywood,but shit ain't that simple with this movie

@mYiNhEaRtSoD Well, I can't see how much more fucked-up could these movies get... Not only do they have absolutely nothing to do with the Resident Evil games (which were very well made), but the movies have possibly the stupidest and most inaccurate plot. (in the games,the T-Virus is airborne, so if this movie had the slightest idea of what it's plot is about, all of the main characters would already be dead by the beginning of the first movie)
