my pc is 2 in 1, windows 7 and linux10.04.

i accidentally deleted some of the boot item in the linux.

when I restart my computer it says ' bootmgr is missing'

press ctrl alt delete to restart' now i cant go to both. please how?

@langsita there is no Linux 10.04 and i think you mean you have Ubuntu 10.04.

You clearly really should read a lot more before you dive in any further.

Use alternative method from Linux livecd.

sudo /sbin/grub

grub> root (hd0,2)

grub> setup (hd0)

grub> quit
