For me... the history, While we play halo we always have a hero inside us, halo has that feeling, you are always a spartan or a soldier that saves, almost, the whole universe... you are masterchief, you are rookie, you are noble 6...you saved cortana, you saved the humanity many times, you have defeated the enemy with no fear,you are the spartan, you are the odst, you are the HERO.for me thats the main idea that why halo one of the best games ever

Nope. We fight the Precursors. And the Forerunners aren't dead. In fact, Halo 3's last terminal (When accessed on Legendary) points to that. So does CEA's.

The Halo series isn't being milked. 343 seems really passionate about what they're doing, and at least to me, it's clear they aren't doing it for the money.
