Yea the rocket was fine, There were some scratches in the paint where my finger nail dug in But nothing major. It would have been worst if i did not catch it. We were also lucky that the rocket was not coming in ballistic, like they normally do if there is no deployment.
first of all these are not your typical Estes rocket. The rockets air-frame rang in the dia. of 2 to 3in. Therefore a lot more surface air compared to your basic Estes kit, which are in general minimum diameter rocket. Therefore they have to need a higher impulse motor to pick it up. That why we are using clusters and G motors (btw G motor has 160 newtons compared to C which only has 10)
Nice intelligent group of launches. However.. I didn't know Mr. Lewis was a rocketeer. I'm sure Jerry really enjoyed his planned day out or was he just acting on impulse?

The motor did stayed in i know. I don't remember if the delay element burnt though or if the BP just did not ignite

Nice rockets but way to big. Ive had rockets on c6 engines go bout twice that height.
