  • just use the right lubricants and this engine will last forever

  • all 3 look stoned!!

  • the man in the background needs a bra

  • @HeavyGhost

    lol

  • nice wanker

  • @Vebable Nice wankel, a wanker's engine doesn't exists.....

  • @ChrisLuxembourg

Ask a wanker about his engines.

or just get the joke and move on..

  • ezelentes videos hermano cuidathe

  • 0:18 o.O

    oh my god

  • Rotaries are for Wankelers, lol. Kidding, they are an aewsome engine design, and because they are a reciprocal engine, instead of a stroke engine, they just rev out so good. Up to 9 or 10 thousand revs fairly easily. They do use a bit of fuel though, so when is someone gonna make a HO version from water in a fuel cell? That'd be sweet.

  • omg, it rotates !

  • For some reason the way it moves turns me on.

  • How often did the "wiper" \||/ at the lobe tips need to be replaced?

    Was it easy or difficult?

What kept combution products from blowing by the sides of the rotors?

    Thank you.

  • is a easy job... but need calm and time

  • It's a meat grinder! It's a cookie maker! It's...ITS.....aah I give up.

  • yes friend, great joke!!!

  • @wumpascott Its an ass kicking waiting to happen! :)

  • COOL1!!

  • todos embobados con el pinche motor XD

  • jejeje si como niños....

  • its a Rotary Engine normally a 2 rotor but people who have money extend the engine make it 4 rotor crazy hp they are the same as a 4 cylinder but better

  • they're actually comparable to a 12 cylinder...

  • actually a 4 rotar has the same firing pulse as a 12 cylinder engine, 6 power strokes per 1 turn of the crank.

  • My girlfriends car has less oil in it lol

  • What are these used for?

  • this is an engine

  • Haha, okay. Are there many of these around? 'Cause I thought companies gave up on an attempt to sell these things decades ago. I looked it up a little bit. I could probably find out all about it. But I'm assuming you know all about them.

  • these are in the Mazda RX8, i believe...

  • they showed up in many mazdas rx-3 rx-7 rx-8 and a couple others. they were used in airplanes becuase they were better suited then piston engines. they even made a corvette with a 4 rotor engine(only a concept) but chevy removed the engine because it embarressed all of there v8s. rotaries are in my opinion better then piston engines becuase they only have technically 3 moving parts instead of 40-something on a piston engine= less things to go wrong. the problem is these get terrible gas mileage

  • for mazda rx7,rx8

  • this rotor type is beter than cylinder.. try it..

  • rotary > cylinder

  • well , maybe that's right but u have to look also to the affidability...for exemple the heat and temperature of exercise in this engine is not the same in each part , so this potentially can be a problem in a long time.

Also need a lot of lubrification.

jappanese people are from another planet.... this is da shit!

  • so can you put a rotary engine to another car ?

  • you can put any motor into any car if you have enough money and time

  • ok.. so you like... i love the rotors... you like cylinder whatch videos of cilinders...

  • To normalny silnik wankla ock ?

  • WTF?!?!?!?

  • I said that this is normal Wankel engine. I can understand why such a fuss?

  • man boobs!!

  • so the rotor turn once, the same has the crank shaft/intermittent shaft ? no wonder the engine have a high MPG rating.

  • is there a roller bearing between the eccentric shaft and the rotor? if not... is it possible to fit a rotary with bearings? Tnx:D

  • hehe drehen drehen drehen!!! Idioten!!!!

  • i really don't care what you say, i think i know my shit, you need to get out of the house, stop posting lame comments on youtube all day long, go and hug a tree you ugly.

    Siro out.

  • Actually there are two compartiments or something like that and added together it's 2.6L engine...

  • no its not. your a cabbage. learn your shit

  • How did you get your rotor nice and shiny like that?

i have a single rotor sitting next to me that i wanna make look brand new...so i can use for a paper weight xD

any ideas on how to clean so the rust and what not comes off?

    any advice would be appreciated

  • white vinegar leave it in that shit for a weak etheier that or peterol seiously peterol softens the carbon deposits as far as rust goes just get some metal polish and keep scrubing with a clean cotton rag eg old cotten t-shirt /vest

  • take it down a local paint spray shop or engineering place and ask them to sand blast it, then a good polish

  • Its not a complete wankel.

  • lol the 2 oldman is funny XD the first old man will say "man, what a stupid guy trying to show us,but im bored i just want to get in the car!" the second oldman will say "man im bored can you make so coffee or lets go eat for lunch!" :D

  • thats a pretty impressive design since the last 50 yrs of engines, at least from what i know bout cars

  • wow,u like doin that,

  • why have the BS comments not been deleted jet?

Just delete the discussion until some-one says something sensible.

    It is also funny.

  • lol finally someone with some sense

  • if they would take the time to put more development into the wankel I feel that it would be more efficent that any other style engine, burning oil is really not that big of a deal, but the if they could make it some if was more fuel efficient I believe it would become more popular. Besides I'd rather rebuild a wankel than anything else.

  • omfg. your engine sucks. stop spamming all the videos about rotary motors.

  • Did you design your own engine? If not you have nothing to talk about, Just go to school and learn nothing!

The truth about the rotary engine is that it use 20% more fuel then any piston engine and lots of oil. My engine runs on all types of fuel and is much more efficient the any engine today. Before you make a comment like that, learn the truth about the rotary engine!

  • The rotary engine is no more nor no less efficient than a comparably configured piston engine. A bi-rotor engine is equivalent to a V6 engine, and will draw as much fuel as a V6. At full throttle, the rotary is just as power efficient as a reciprocating engine as well. However, rotaries have different power curves than reciprocating engines, so if you drive it *like* a reciprocating engine, you will suck gas.

  • Hmmm... maybe they named it after you Hoser - "Wanker"... lmfao...

  • Har har har ... J00 R so FUNNEH! And CLEV4R!

  • Well... my feeble attempt at humour... LoL

  • and dyoo karnt spel...

  • idiot. he was right.

  • No, you're wrong. It is far less fuel efficient, and burns oil. Not that I don't love the Wankel. Their greatest quality is their strength. There are so many fewer moving parts in a rotary. The only real weakness in a rotary, esp. one with high strength forged components, are the apex seals. However, if you want the ultimate in efficiency, power, and durability; get a diesel. My Dodge Cummins makes about 900hp on 95psi (runs 11's) and can still get 24mpg if I drive it right.

  • Key words: "If I drive it right." I got 28MPG on the 13B by driving my '7 right too. But that involved a 400 mile stretch of freeway driving, carefully monitoring RPMs to make sure I maximized fuel economy, particularly when going up-hill. When I mentioned efficiency, I was comparing a full-throttle Wankel to a full-throttle reciprocating engine. Under those conditions, they're about the same. I believe I'd mentioned that already, but perhaps I forgot.

  • Ummm... you do realize that you just compared your very meager powered 1.3L to his huge 900HP Dodge Cummins and said yours is more efficient right? LOL.

4 MPG, when his engine is like 4 times as large and has 4 times the power, is not a point in your goal, dude.

  • you do realize that his 1.3L wankel weighs about 3x less then his huge diesel. With power-weight ratio, id say the engines are pretty equal.

  • not at all...we're talking efficiency. I get 24 miles per gallon. OH and mine has 278000 miles on it....IT NEVER BREAKS.

Sorry, Diesel is the ultimate powerplant. just look at the Audi R10 Le Mans car.

  • deisel engines way nearly 3 times as much and can't rev to 14,000rpm diesels are made for torque eg city driving rotary engines are made to rev which makes them great ror smooth flat race tracks-or american roads

  • Again, I would refer you to the Audi R10. You're wrong. Besides they don't have to WEIGH that much. Also, Torque translates to HP with the right gearing. You would never win an endurance race with a wankel. Primarily because they just drink WAY too much fuel.

For a drag car I have a Dodge Ram with a Cummins. I can move 8000lbs down the quarter mile in 11 seconds, get 20+mpg, and drive it every day.

  • haha your lying you can't get 11 seconds and 8 thousand pounds and 20mpg on the other hand you can get any one of those things alone. And don't try to bullshit me i have 4 cummins one in a chevy one in a ford one in a frieghtliner and a spare owned and/or driven more than i can remember they are great engines but your still full of shit.

  • actually I meant to type 7000lbs. No matter, it's not like I accomplished anything new. Lot's of guys with 12 valve cummins are achieving the same results. Just read a few issues of Diesel Power Magazine, or TDR, or any number of publications and/or forums. It's well documented. The key to getting the mileage is driving style and proper injectors. I assure you, if you can control your right foot you can get economy with your hotrod cummins.

  • "You would never win an endurance race with a wankel"

    You're wrong!

Mazda 787B won Le mans 24H with a wenkel. This kind of motor was then banned, due to it's relative advantage.

  • haha get the facts straight before you start talking shit, mazda won the le mons with a rotary and it was banned because it raped everything else

  • i love rotorys the just beast on everything!!

  • hmmm.... diesel rotary?

  • you could never get a rotary to achieve the necessary compression.

  • By drive it right I only mean; not fast. besides I have almost 300000 miles on the clock and the engine is still like new. It weighs nearly 7000 lbs and eats Corvettes for breakfast....in a straight line.

  • 900 hp on a Ram? what did you do to it

  • hahaha owned faggot

  • Using the phrase "owned" 15 years after it was clever, is gayer than anything you could do to another man.

  • Tommyleereed--What is your design again? a stack of saw blades on a spindle that spins when you squirt them with a hose? Wow! You're a fucking genius!!

  • lol that is just so cool. the way it moves is just awesome so smooth in motion.

  • its spinning, its spinning.. come look

  • i'm dizi

  • ever seen a wankel in action?

  • wankel motor system.

  • ..............it spins...............

  • Gotta love that Wobble Wobble,

Sr Wankel Que en paz descanse

  • what's Your school name? Where is it?

  • I did the same thing with my 13B for my school project.

  • haha i wish i could have, but all the apex seals were broken and wouldnt stay in place, but then again it is a 12a, and is a piece of shit
