Your pedals coast way too much to have people build them, them selfs.
iv heard only like two of these(distortion), as long as your have a nice amp buy what ever other pedal you'd want with warranty and a good brand name. they sound the same or better. so WAY to expensive to, for nothing.
@5Spekter For the BYOC kits in general, if you take into account the pre-drilled enclosures, the PCB, the pots, and time saved by not having to source all this stuff yourself, they end up being a very good deal. I'm a professional audio equipment tech, and I have to fix bad solder joints in just about EVERY piece of gear that comes in--from the "good" brand names. If I build it, I know that it's put together correctly from the start. Warranty? I'd prefer not to need one...
@ibanezman007 I read the PDF instructions on their webiste for this kit, and it says you can replace the trimpots with potentiometers :D I don't know if there will be space to mount them though.
@JAKEGOODYEAR Because crybaby's don't have this much functionality. You can customize your exact sound with this kit. With other wah's you get one sound.
Im curious, I LOVE these kits but I have no idea how to solder electronics!! can you do a video demonstrating how to solder these kits in their easiest and most difficult moments? THANKS!
yeah dude, its really simple, when you buy their kits, you order the CONFIDENCE BOOSTER, that is basically to start anyone off who has no idea what they are gdoing. on the forums there are many many helpful things, they have guides on how to solder. before the byoc i had a little experience with soldering and i modded my boss metal zone(pedaldoc) good fun~

Could you use a potentiometer instead of a trimpot?

You should have a little "ultra" package that will provide the parts to add all those switches if someone wanted to.

they have some good guides in their forums. I found one in the mighty mouse section.
Good luck, they're nice pedals.
