If you want a professional flat iron and you are ok with spending around $140 I would highly recommend the Karmin G3 Salon Pro, it heats up to 450f with temperature control, dual voltage, tourmaline ceramic plates with rounded edges which makes it great for also curling your hair. Also has a 3 year warranty. If you do look at other irons make sure to stay away from irons with painted plates (colored plates) these can damage your hair.
If you want a professional straightener and you are ok with spending around $140 I would highly recommend the Karmin G3 Salon Pro, it heats up to 450f, tourmaline ceramic plates with rounded edges which makes it great for also curling your hair. If you do look at other irons make sure to stay away from irons with painted plates (colored plates) these can damage your hair. You can buy from My Hair Styling Tools or Hair Products Pro. Good luck and I hope this helps.
To all those who do NOT like this FHI flat iron- please note the FHI RUNWAY is considered to be the ONE everyone raves about... it's retail is $450! I've used CHI, Sedu, and a bunch of others and I'm hearing the FHI Runway is the best....
i believe the fhi is probably the best flat iron i have it and its the best and its doesnt damage your but there is also another fhi pure ceramic and its like $300 its awesome because they say pure ceramic is the best for your hair
if he fhi is lyk 70 or 100 dollars and chi is 150 thn why is the fhi better... i personally think tht the chi is wayyyyy better becuz i used to have the fhi and i loved it but thn i got the chi and its awsome! so well thts my opinion..
i have natural, curly hair- i'm black, btw- and lemee tell ya! the FHI is a godsend. without it i don't know what i'd do. people think i have a perm when i use it, and i've been using it almost EVERY day for the past year and a half, and i have NO breakage, heat damage whatsoever. my hair's full ,has body, like a perm and is thick as can be. i would reccommend it to anyone. i have the unadjustable one, that automatically goes to like 450 degrees, but i love it.
I'm thinking of getting a flat iron and i don't know which to get. Do you think fhi is the best? Should i get a chi instead? I have frizzy, curly hair and i am persian. i have very healthy hair because i have never straightened it. Do you think the fhi will damage my hair?
has it changed the natrual texture of your hair?? made it looser? i have thick curly hair and im worried about that. i ordered one today im excited :D
thank you so much. i have used the platform but was so surprised i had not seen a lot of youtube reviews for it. i did so much research to decide on this one. Except you say u use it at 300-350. i have fine hair but it will not work for me unless I use it at least 370. how could that work for you so low? anyway, i did use mine really low like you at first but eventually the hair needs the temp. higher, i think.
actually. i use average temp of 365, i mispoke. i have used lower temp and the hair might be frizzy throughout day, like i had never done it. i have an off center part and more hair to straighten on one side So i use it at 370 on the thick side and around 360 on the think side
I've tried different hair straighteners and the best one for me is the Karmin G3 Salon Pro, it works amazing :P

changl72 - I would go for the FHI for your type of hair to get great results with minimum damage to your hair.

It's an excellent one.
It depends on your hair. If you have chemically treated hair or thin hair, many haidreser recommend it over many others!
