rachmaninov was a master of blending/transitioning between varies starkly contrasting themes in musical pieces. the composers between rachmaninov and the classical era helped contribute alot to his style.. but none of them took it to his level. in my opinion anyway.

@cadazar123 The first part of the title says Rachmaninoff...as in Sergei Rachmaninoff. Look up his Prelde in C Sharp Minor. It's more well known.
