sure, u can have the OTT tricks and uber terrain, but the game was about its characters. and sometimes even their backstorys, Crowd favourite Psymon, fell into power line and knocked out a towns electricity, Eddie Wichowski, stuck in the 70's. Oh thank god. From the gritty "deadly" trailer i was so worried that the franchise was trying to be serious and completely abandon bright, cartoony, and (best of all) incredibly unrealistic courses and tricks that made it so much fun. While jumping from a helicopter looks fun it wouldn't feel like ssx with a pilot who sounds like he's dropping you off in a warzone. Luckily from this I can see that I should have never lost faith in these guys, this game looks awesome.
