This show reminds me of Kuroshitsuji,not only that Haji looks like Sebastian but also Diva with short hair reminds me of Ciel,oh and the songs also reminds me of Black butler ,and many other things. BOTH GREAT MANGA AND ANIME! <3
I really wanted to like Diva in the Anime but she kept doing shit that made me despise her and I was glad when Saya killed her. In the manga after I read it, it was just so different that I really felt sorry for her and was sad that just when she was about to reconcile with Saya, she was killed. But I think that is ultimately why the anime was better, it kept me on the edge of my seat and really gave me a villain to hate. I hated everything about the Anime Diva and that is why I loved this anime

The last episode broke my heart cause it seemed to finally show that they were forced to kill each other because of other peoples desires, but in reality Diva just wanted a family that could be found in Saya and Saya wanted a friend who could understand what it was like to outlive everyone she cared about. But it was not ment to be, so Diva killed Sayas loved ones to have Saya and Saya forgot her past to escape the pain. So tragic :'(

For those of you who liked this show, I'd recommend the manga. It told the story in a different way, and the ending was just as sad as the one in the anime. SPOILER While the anime focuses more on how Diva wanted kids, or a family, the manga focuses on how all that Diva wanted was for Saya to be with her and love her. I prefer the manga and how it focuses on this aspect of Diva. Also, they made a show called Blood-C that is like a spin-off of Blood+. Still, the characters are totally different.

@yukisaga15 Yeah :D! It's really different when comapred to the anime- for examples, Diva doesn't rape and kill Riku. She tries having sex with him (who knows if she would have killed him afterwords), but didn't. Likewise, Karl is a totally different character.
I'm sorry but I didn't like the ending of Blood + they could of made it better but on the other hand the show was good I wish they were more eps thumbs up if you think so
@ChibiNendoroid On a scale of 1 to 10, I'd rate Blood+ at 7.5 because while it was great and had a good plotline, parts of it were fairly slow. If I were to watch it again, I would probably rate it higher and I would probably realize the value of the slower parts of the show.
It's about an anemic amnesiac finding meaning in life. She has a twin and they spend the whole series working out their issues.
In the end it may not be your cup of tea, I think that it is definitely worth checking out.

@TheInfinityDragoon The corps core was made with just Diva's blood that's why they didn't have the thorn, the schiiff where created with both Saya and Diva's Blood that's why they were dying because Saya and Diva's blood aren't supposed to mix or they'll crystalize. That's why I though Saya's blood killed all vampires and diva's blood made them because of what happend to Irene when they tried to use Saya's blood to cure her. Though they never explained how they got Saya's Blood to do it at all

@TheInfinityDragoon I get where you're going but Saya and Diva had the same mother and their blood can kill eachother I don't think it works the same way for the babies and I forgot when I heard it but someone said that Saya's blood kills vampires and Diva's blood makes them and that's why they needed Diva's blood to cure the shift because they were made with both of their bloods and Saya's half of the blood was killing them that's why Irene died when she tried to save her with her blood

@TheInfinityDragoon well I know that now, my brother showed me the final act but I didn't know that when I posted it, the point is raping Riku aside Diva was my favorite character and I found it kind of lame how she died when the first time that she fought Saya she has super speed and super strength and all of that and altogether the fight just seemed rushed to me and I found it convenient how they just came up with a excuse for why Saya lived when they were both stabbed

wow. i listened to sayas, divas, and hajis son together and it was amazing. i wonder if it was actually made to be that way. i have to say that hajis cello was off in certain places but other than that it was absolutely amazing!

Now that I actually know the meaning of the song it makes Diva's life seem all the more sad and so unecessarry to have been that way. Makes me glad kinda the first Joel got killed by her hands now =\ That whole century and a half could have been so different for the two sisters if their "father" had been a human being. Humans sometimes are more monster-like then "real" monsters. I'm not excusing Diva for what she did, but she has reason to be how she was. Nor was she quite all there.
