I think the cause of this disease, this sickness is SMILE. Why do they smile at first place. Why do they look so nice and be so nice and talk so nicely. They plant this tree of dream and then, when I tell them how much i love them (in my case him), They never show their face again. Well, at least, you found some funny thing in this mystery and made this movie...

@silnetofsn i was referring to situations like 0:45. I saw him, we looked at each other and he gave the most beautiful smile! I got lost in dreams, just like the guy in this movie, and by the time I came to real life, he was GONE. I thought he was the One (And i still think he is), so i ran, ran after him, all excited n full of dreams! and then, I got rejected, Of course!

Well then, I hope you realize how lucky you are. Take care of that wonderful smile! :)

hi i was wondering how u went about getting those scenes and what equipment was used. Excluding the lens and the camera of course. For instance at 1:48 you were in a car, but what equipment were u using and at 2:00 mins. how did you get up there lol. Is this equipment expensive? I haven't even bought a camera yet but i dream of being a filmmaker, to reach ur position would be a huge achievement. Is it too late, Im 19 years old. lol. stupid question i know. how old were u when u started?

@Moteaname I used a 7D a tripod and a track and dolly (but only for a few shots). The car stuff was just shot of a car window. The tall shot was from the top of a parking garage, I drove to the top. I didn't start getting serious about making movies until I was 22 so no, it's not too late. Actually, it's never too late. I'm still working at it to try and get to the level I want to be at. So just practice practice practice.

Hi, on my school we're about to make a short movie, about 5 min any advice?

@Customizer1337 That's awesome! If this is your first short film I'd say keep the camera steady. Don't be lazy about where you place it. Make sure you have enough light on character's faces. Get the microphone close enough to the actor that we can understand the dialogue. Don't forget to get plenty of different shot sizes. Google "180 degree rule". Last: Remember the first short you do probably wont' be a masterpiece. That's okay!! Push past that and keep practicing. I'm still practicing!

@Customizer1337 Hey, there. It's all original music written for the film. I record in Digital Performer. The classical instrumentation is all Vienna Symphonic Library samples, the drums are from East West/Quantum Leap, and I played live acoustic & electric guitar, electric bass and mandolin.

the amazing thing is that some d-bag movie maker would've done the same exact thing but would've added an hour right in the middle when all these movies would be so much more enjoyable if they were simplified into 3 minute shorts.
