  • superb technique shown by the young orange belt dude!!!..... i love the way at (3,50)he used the same "leg hook takedown" technique..... on the bigger guy's ARM!!! to control him and kepp him from postering up...... basics all the way!!!! this kids had a big futurre in the arts...

    Andy - UK

  • i dont remember any orange belts in jiu jitsu

  • cool!

  • Raymond Gomez can be seen demonstrating JIU-JITSU at graciefighterkid of the NCFA here on youtube. Check it out

  • beautiful arm bar by your son. A+

  • what music is that?

  • Firestarter by The Prodigy.

  • i think i lost to that kid in the finals of a tourney one time, u look a lot like him. idk, but only think i remember is that i got

    2nd place :( lol

  • dude, this was freaking awesome! im sad my parents didnt make me go to these dojos when i was still a kid. I so envy your son!

  • Im very sorry for disrespecting you and your awesome son. I have no excuss but I was a drunk ass-hole and I'm very sorry. I should not put anyone else name in my drunk bantar. Im very sorry once again. I dont believe what I freakin put. Im a coplete IDIOT. Please forgive me. Im embarrssing my self and my son and the names I mentioned. Once again please forgive my childness. Im sorry to the Gracie Family.

  • Your son is a very fluid and dominant fighter! Having looked at the other videos, he takes his time in setting up a good base before snapping on a submission. I wish some of the people we roll with in our club could even understand that! ;) You must be very proud of your son! - Leeds University Ground-Warriors BJJ

  • KIller vid

  • this lamo adds his idols are Rorian, Ralph, Royce, Royler, and Renzo....obviously watching too many instructional videos...how about Rickson Gracie the family champion? by the way it was great how that little kid owned that blonde mammoth!!!

  • the young gracies are still dominating the jiu jitsu circuits like Roger Gracie and Kron Gracie, and they'll continue to dominate for generations to come..

  • man i do jiu jutsu this stuff is the best!! ANY1 who really likes grappling techniques and likes hand to hand combat shud go into this

  • Whats happening is that the Gracies as individual are loosing the cusp they once had. Yes Gracie Jiu Jitsu is the best but the Men arent. Things are changing, evolution of MMA. People know how to grapple too well to do 'the Helios way of fighting'. Its not a bad thing. It is what it is. The Old Gracie way of fighting is only best against someone that does not do jiu-jitsu. Because Who ever they have ready to fight in 9yrs, who ever their new star is - Raymond Gomez will be better in the UFC

  • The only other boy that I that has Raymond Gomez's capabilities and is fantastic at grappling is Drake 'Ultimate'Dudley. Im telling the truth I dont need to lie.

  • I came off the wrong way. I am not disrespecting the Gracies. I should proof read what I write before I send it. My Idols are ,Rorion,Ralph,Royce,Roylerand Renzo. I wish I could actually meet one of them.I will put my son on here and silence you dis-belivers. My son truely has been trainning for 4 1/2yrs gi-less. Never wore one once. Every kid he competes against that trains with a gi was gotten spanked when they go gi-less. But please dont misconstrue what I said. GRACIE JIU JITSU ALL THE WAY

  • Great kid. Forget this moron xraytech1112, does he really think that anyone can be compared to the Gracies? He is an insecure prick and im sure you kid could even whip his ass.

  • My son- 10yrs will smoke this Chris kid. His name is Raymond Gomez whom has a yellow belt under David Terrell of the Nor-Cal fighting Alliance in Santa Rosa,ca. We dont train with pajamas on- gi less. If this is so good- were is the flying arm-bar? The double and single leg take downs. The standind kimura. The Real Gracies are holding back. This kid should be better

  • *yawn*

Please do all of the pajama fighting kids in the world a favor and go buy a video camera and post up some vids of your 10 y/o prodigy.

BTW, I never mentioned in any of my videos that my son is the best around... only a insecure dad would make that claim.

  • No, please tacobill you must understand im not being insecure or I would have Raymond all over the web. Let them compete in a gi-less match. Friendly competition. After aven though We dont train at that academy. We have much, much more noted fighters. David terrell, Gilbert Melendez, Jake Shields, Nick and Nate Diaz. But we ( you and me) are like family. We all do GRACIE JIUJITSU. Let me know if this is good.. I will come to you or you come to us as friends

  • See ther I go not proof reading my work. What I meant to say was " Even though we dont train at your academy"

  • It's good.. I also respect all Jiu-Jitsu practioners, especially the kids.

I'm sure your son is exceptional at what he does.

My son Chris has been training GJJ for 4 years, TKD for 7 years, and Judo for 2 years.

It would be fun to see our kids spar, but Chris doesn't train 'no-gi' so your son may have the advantage.

Thanks for clearing up your post, almost banned you! LOL!!! =)

  • Ok then, thats that. Wow 4yrs and still no triangles, omopolatas, kimuras, ankle locks, heel hooks? I talk to Mark Laimon about three yrs ago and he to.d me he left the Gracies because they would not teach him the teqnical moves. He said when he went to AbuDhabi he was freakin shocked. He could not believe the moves they were doing. He asked the Gracies to show him those moves. The Gracies would'nt.

  • Although maybe true in Mark's case, don't believe every negative story about what goes on at the Gracie Academy. I can assure you that my son knows more moves than what you see in this short video.

Personally, I'd like to see him proficient in the basic subs more than 'less than' proficient in a multitude of subs.

  • Trust me sir. You have not liked the Gracies longer than I. You may have access to the originals but oure teching, and fighter are world class. This is not the old days. We all know GracieJiuJitsu now. You need to trian with Raymond. You will be shocked. I can only speak 4 Ray, but its to bad its been 4yrs and your son is on good at gurad passes. Only proficient in basics. My son was that way when he was 8yrs old. Now hhe is much too advanced

  • Your son is awsome

  • insecure much? and moves like flying armbar? standing kimuras? lol your kidding right? all the world champions hardly use that shit..why? cause it has a low percentage rate. what they use a lot are BASICS, if you master the basics your set. Roger Gracie just won the worlds, submitted all of his opponents..thats un heard of..he didnt use no flying armbar, or standing kimura..thats all for show. master the basics Chris your doing great!

  • Nick Diaz ( Cesar Gracie black belt). Reverse STANDING KIMURA-MMA. And I've seen a Flying triangle, flying armbar- high level MMA MOVE. And Im sorry for disrespecting you CHRIS- xraytech112. Keep up the good work. And Raymond is still trainning. 6yrs under David Terrell and we respect all GRACIE FIGHTERS.Much love and respect

  • lol thats all..u can only name 3 out of the top of your head? my point exact

  • Oh and I forgot. Kisses to you THIGHMASTER19. Oops my bad. I meant xymaster19.

  • lol wow your hilarious....fail

  • Forget Eddie Bravo, it's all about the ORIGINAL Gracie Jiu Jitsu. Let the kid get grounded in the foundational basics from the family that created it- THEN, he can get into all that space age stuff. This kid is AMAZING. Obviously a natural talent. As long as he loves to do BJJ, ENCOURAGE ENCOURAGE ENCOURAGE!

  • no posture 4 da oger and was only keen for 1 choke, but omg chris ur a gun fighter bro, i myself am an orange belt but ur cheering uv got a great achademy over there im 17 and i have to train wiff huge blokes twice my size. i guess me being small like urself doesnt help but we dont have classes over here with ppl the same age as me. but keep up the good work, keep using ur speed and agility!! hope to get in contact with u to see wat ur up to in fighting wise!! morrison_1990@hotmail

  • woooo the kid is impressive, ossssssssssss!!!!

  • that kid dominated in each fight! i cant believe he got that ogre in the second fight to tapout

  • whens he gunna be at the academy next i wanna roll with him

  • He is a real fighter... take care of him man...

wish him all the best he deserves 5 stars from my side ^_^ Say hi to him

  • He did well, but how come everyone (almost) was a lower rank that him?

  • impressive

  • great vid. just wondering how much older his opponents are or is your son just on the small side?

  • Keep it up Chris! And MeatDentist is right about strange jiu jitsu methods worth learning, try to find some info about Eddie bravo's techniques. They're great!

  • yo wats up with the kid fighting that big guy at 2:37

  • Kid's pretty good!

  • yeah i think he willl go far in jiu jitsu if he keeps at it i myself do jiu jitsu in australia and just wont a local competiton in wanneroo my name is ryan and my trainer roy smith says i can compete in state if i win my next one

  • The kid has skills and starting early can't hurt. Don't let him get stuck in just Gracie thinking, theres lotsa outside the box jiujitsu.

  • actually dumbass I plan too in the near future when Im more prepared in my current condition I would lose but practice makes the master so I just need a little more time.

  • wtf....your all impressed because he beat a bunch of kids bigger then him did u not notice they were thie belts why not put him with a kid bigger then him that was at least a yellow belt like the first kid he grappled with or a organge belt like him.

This is nothing to be amazed about you arrogant fools.

  • you seem really mad kid hater its does't matter what belt there are no belts in the street he can do that to why dont you go againest the gracies and your the fool

  • your really bored arent you

  • the fat kid was like, twice his size.

  • awesome video! new talent, so mahalo (thank you) for sharing. my son just entered his first tournament and did well. so this can be a learning tool! two thumbs up!

  • Good stuff. He should incorporate some of his judo (throws) more, then he would have an easier time from there.

  • yer smooth transitions and nice positioning, when the girl flattens him by falling on him he had a good position to try for a kimura

  • I fogot to mention, if you look, all the kids he faught were twice his size and he beat every single one. He defantly has talent. I noticed his favorite is arm bar.

  • Beautiful try on the arm bar.

  • your son is going to grow up to be a very dangerous man.

  • Very impressive. I've seen a lot of kids matches and they tend to deteriorate into both kids holding headlocks for 5 min. Not so here. Your son has a good positional game and a good awareness of when to go for each different submission.

  • Your son is fantastic at this stuff. I am very impressed with it. Seriously, good job. How old is he? If he sticks with it, he will be amazing.

  • Wow, congratulations. That is true BJJ; the smaller guy beating the bigger guy. I train at Cesar Gracie's in Pleasant Hill. I'm moving to LA at the end of the month and am looking for a new school. I know the Torrance academy is the oldest school, but how do you or your son like it? I hear it is very expensive. Could you send me a private message and give me some info about it?

  • chris embodies jiu jitsu!! I am very glad to find you on here!! I ll be at class tonight hope to see you there!!
