How many nights I laid awake at night crying and praying and waiting for their Dad to get home. I knew he was out drinking, but in all those years, he only had once car accident and that was before we were married. I don't know why, but it only takes one fatal accident, doesn't it? After 20 years of lying in bed at night and wondering how I'd raise the kids alone, pay off the mortgage etc, the kids were getting grown, the mortgage was becoming manageable-the plan was becoming together.

Wow. Thanks for sharing your story. I cannot imagine raising my wonderful kids without the partnership of my spouse. You have reminded me that driving while impaired can mean losses for my loved ones which are far greater than just the possible consequences for me personally.

If i made the rules any 1 caught driving under the influence would be blinded simple.
