To connect the SDR-IQ, you need to get inside the radio, remove the signal from the RX side of the T/R relay, split this signal and feed it back to the radio and the SDR-IQ. It is totally not elegant, but works. maybe in the future, we will offer a cleaner solution.
This modification requires the addition of a coupler after the T/R relay on the RX side. The couple has very little loss in the thru path going to the TS-590 and about 10dB going to the SDR-IQ. We are looking at ways to supply a board that requires no soldering, but that has not been possible yet.
Great work, would love to know exactly how you modified the TS-590S, and setup the SDR-IQ. Very greateful for any consideration passed along to us fellow Hams.
@RFSPACE1 Hello, I have the TS-590s (I have a few videos on my youtube account re: the radio)...do you need to do anything special to make this work? Someone mentioned a 'relay' below for TX etc... is there anything special required to get this working other than the software & the USB cable? Thanks - Craig VK3VCM
What happens if you transmit ? Do you have a coaxial relay that disconnect the SDR-IQ during TX ? I am wondering about the Heros Technology coaxial dual relay that disconnects the SDR-IQ if I transmit........
Hi
Very nice.
The question is how can I connect to the TS2000.
Thanks.

Nice video. The receive audio sounds good as well. I like how you have it working with SDR-IQ
