Mark Lazarus played wide on the right in the era when QPR were progressing from Div 3 to Div 1 via the league cup. The eleven you got listed get my thumbs up. But which manager? The late great Alec Stock or cheeky Tel?
Cheers, I think he also played on the wing. What would be your best ever QPR side? the reason I ask is because I'm doing some research on all English clubs' best ever teams - I found this vid searching for Lazarus. I think I've got all your best players but would like to know a fans choice! (I'm Liverpool).
I've got: GK: Phil Parkes LB: Clive Wilson CB: Alan MacDonald CB: Terry Fenwick RB: Paul Parker CM: Ray Wilkins CM: Gerry Francis LW: Dave Thomas RW: Wayne Fereday CF: Stan Bowles CF: Rodney Marsh Absolute class team. Most were playing in the team that were narrowly beaten to the title by Liverpool back in Liverpool's golden era (QPR should have won it).
Best ever team (1-11) was Parkes, Clement, Gillard, Hollins, McLintock, Webb, Thomas, Francis, Masson, Bowles, Givens, Sub Leach.
That side must form thet basis for an all time team. Reluctantly, Don Givens must give way to Les Ferdinand, Ian Gillard replaced by Clive Wilson, and Ray Wilkins comes in for John Hollins.
Mark Lazarus was a right winger, and a hell of a character. There was one game in which he was changing his shorts when the ball came his way. You then has the sight of Lazarus running with the ball, shorts in one hand, and fortunately wearing a jockstrap!
Okay, two answers to your two question about my great vid
1) it was the day that QPR secured survival in the championship by beating cardiff city and John Gregory was told that the club captain marcus bignot said that he was the best signing QPR had made because he came early in the season and saved us.
2) i forgot basically, i never thought about it, it was a sort of just find the closest clips i have, i'll make another vid in this style and include it

it's hard to tell since i've only supported QPR since 2003. but of what i've seen so far here it goes:
Goalkeeper: Lee Camp
Defenders: Dan Shittu, Marcus Bignot, Gino Padula and Damion Stewart
Midfielders: Lee Cook, Martin Rowlands, Gareth Ainsworth and Akos Buszaky
Strikers: Kevin Gallen and Paul Furlong
Subs: Chris Day, Marc Bircham, Dexter Blackstock, Ray Jones and Matthew Rose

I can't find a place for Rodney Marsh.

Two questions to ask about you're great vid

Although I was at Wembley on 4 March 1967, the place was almost shaking in May 2003 after Furlong scored. That was some night!
