Also, Gojira has stated that their musical influences include Sepultura, Death, Morbid Angel, Meshuggah, Metallica, Pantera, Tool and Neurosis.

Guys (and Girls), I have a problem, I really like this kind of metal (Gojira, Hacronide, (Opeth)) But I really cant seem to get used to the 'grunting'/screaming/growling. It really doesnt fit me. They may not have heavy riffs, chugging guitars, or machine gun drums like Gojira but their lyrical content equally as inspiring as Gojira's and the instrumentation is pretty good. Songs I suggest are Schism, 46 & 2, and Jambi and then you can find youself from there.

@JahJoJah I would think otherwise. English as a second language is a lot easier than a lot of languages. For example my mothertongue czech is a tough language even for native people and for a foreigner it is totally crazy to learn because it has so many rules. Also Hungary and Finland have very tough languages. I aso found french language really tough to learn because of the many exceptions you have to take into account when making sentences. All in all English is rather a good language to learn

@shagrat32 actually English isn't the easiest language in the world, I'm not certain but I believe English has more words than any other language and this rich but complicated lexicon combined with pretty fucking difficult grammar rules make it an impractical 2nd language (and I say this as a Scot so English is my 1st language). it's a universal language because of the far reaching military and political influence of england through history. Not to mention english being adopted in the US.

Like me; ofcourse, i ain't saying my english knowledge is completed, but im getting better and better all the time.

I speak swedish as mothertounge, tho, and swedish is somewhat related to english. I still have problem to speak finnish, and i live in Finland. :D

@Djentard Yeah I imagine conversational English isn't too hard but I've heard non English speakers from all around the world (including Sweden =P) say that it's a very hard language beyond becoming conversational. Like it's apparently one of the hardest languages to become fluent in. I've heard the same about Swedish (and other Scandinavian languages). I've heard Finnish is a super hard language before, hope it goes well for you!
