He tricked Intor by making an illusion of himself thanks to his Mask of Illusions, and took him out after Intor thought that he had defeated Airko.

Well, when he is in his "2009 form," he learns how to use the air to detect invisible foes (in other words, he could feel the air all around him except for one spot {which that spot would be Intor using his Chameleon powers}). And the transition green pieces on his shoulders and legs are to represent that power.

Actually, he does still wear the Mask of Illusion. It is just now in a different shape similar to the Phantoka version of the Mask of Levitation, but is not that mask power. You will learn more about his mask in my future series, "Quest of Destinies."
