What you see is that the axle is winding itself up in the leaf springs, rotating the axle in the leafs, rather than the tire.
Those guys need a triangular track bar, connecting the top of the differential to the frame, so you get a parallelogram with the leaf spring. Just like big rigs have. Leafs capable of carrying the weight of the truck, arent capable of transferring the huge torque of those big wheels on tarmac.
Its hard to believe the people that run the strip let him move the truck like that. Once you start getting bad places in the asphalt, it gets worse pretty quick. Somebody doing a burnout over that bad spot could throw a chunk of asphalt a long way.
