FYI-If you are talking about the Royal Family of Great Britain there is no King of England at this time. The Queen - Elizabeth - is the head of the Royal Family and her husband Phillip is a Prince because he is a member of the House of Windsor through marriage. The last King was Elizabeth's father and the next King will be either Elizabeth's son Charles or Charles son William. With a new King his wife will become the Queen.

When the prince came to Toronto his entourage of 20 cars passed my street. I was living on the 16th floor and from my balcony I could see at least 15 blocks blocked off at a time to clear the street for his cars to come. I hope that made sense. :)

The "King" is actually a "Prince" for some reason I don't know why, but he actually never became king. Must be something to do with blood lines (just guessing)
