I'd counter that statement were it not for the fact that 2001-2003 were crap seasons for Champ Car. Too bad the only people to witness the return of its GOOD racing were the ones at the track.
Ovals are okay, but I'll take a good road course any day. And I mean GOOD road courses - like St. Pete, Road America or Cleveland, not narrow crap like Detroit, Mid-Ohio, or Infineon.
And I'd much rather see them racing the G-Forces from 2000-2002 than the Dallara(the oval trim is HIDEOUS!).
