@KittyRokher: Afaik, AGM don't make any of these anymore. If you want a GBB rifle like this, you'll either have to buy a second hand one or buy a more expenisive one from other brands (i.e. WA, WE, Inoka, G&P, KJW etc.) Good Luck with your movie.

@mcskatin: I'm not an expert, but I would say get a metal hopup that can take AEG barrels and replace the stock barrel with a tight bore barrel. The AGM can shoot with Greengas, so use that. The magazine has no effect on how your BBs fly. Good Luck.

Since it's so dirt cheap, it's a risk-free buy. But only buy if you're willing to take the gun apart for upgrades and maintenaince. If you have two left hands and some bucks to burn, go for the mid and high end GBBRs.
Nothing. Real guns have the forward assists to cycle the bolt and load a round.
Some airsoft guns, however, have the forward assist serve as a buttom to release any spring tension in the gearbox, hence taking any stress off your internals and increasing the life of your gun. I think ICS did this with some of their armalites.

The forward assist is for reseating the bolt carrier group forward into the locked position, which is hardly ever necessary, The gas tube and buffer spring is what manipulates the bolt carrier to chamber another round.
Initially there was, but by now all the AGM mags on the market now should be the improved 2nd gen versions that are known to not leak anymore on Green gas. I can approve this for all the mags I tried.
Don't wanna advertise for any shops. Just google it up. Not difficult to find. If you buy from a Hong Kong retailer it should be around US$170 shipped at the moment.
The new improved AGM mags don't leak on Greengas anymore. You could also buy the GHK mags. I have my third AGM now and had a couple more in my hands and never had this funny "bolt getting stuck in buffer tube" issue. I have no knowledge or experience with metal body interchangability, but I heard the buffer tube is close to real outer dimensions, making it suitable for real stocks. Hope that helps.

If you use it on Greengas be prepared to replace parts eventually. Parts I think need to be upgraded are the hopup chamber and bolt catch and get the anti-rotation links. With all these extra parts you're still way below the next cheapest GBBR (WE). If you experience that the bolt doesn't lock back after the last round, do the mag spring mod (put some BBs below the spring to make it stiffer).
Welcome on board, I am a clone sceptic myself and still am when it comes to AEGs. But the AGM M4 made it possible to enter the exciting GBBR world without any risks. It's not much money you spend on the AGM and yet you get a heck lot for your bucks. And if something really needs getting replaced or upgraded it doesn't have to cost you an arm or a leg. Azureman- i bought this gun off of ebay banned well built gun it seemed until i looked at it. hop up came broken, for some reason the mag leaks, doesnt stop the bolt and it will suddenly burst gas everywhere. the selector swicth came broken and my halosight i ordered never came with it. what should i do about the sudden gas leaks.
AGM has inconsistent assembly quality, but the parts themselves are often okay. Most of the known issues can be solved by disassembling and properly re-assmembling. Your hopup is probably not broken. It's a 2-parts design and can fall apart, thus making you think it's broken. The bolt stop problem can be solved by putting 8 double stacked BBs into the socket below the spring inside of each of your magazines).
If you want a GBBR platform that looks and strips more realistic, then go for the AGM or any other WA-based GBBR. I personally don't see any reason to go for the WE system. The WE strips less realistic and you see that fugly brass gas chamber in the breach, plus the recoil is said to be weaker than any WA-based GBBR. The AGM though can't be compared to any other GBBR. It costs just a fraction of any other competitor even after upgrades.
This was answered before already. Just like on the real M4 there's no spring or anything to pull th e charging handle back into the receiver body when the bolt is locked back.
It's designed for 134HFC gas, but in this video Greengas was used. You may use Propane or Greengas to increase muzzle velocity, recoil and rate of fire, but all that at the cost of wearing it off much faster. Certain parts would need replacement with stronger after market parts to make it last.
As it's a WA replica, I assume most if not all after market parts for WA based platforms can be used. I've also seen customized parts for the AGM coming out now, e.g. metal hopup chamber, metal buffer, stronger recoil spring.

my dad owns an M4 and the charging handle doesn't move forward if the bolt is locked back buddy. When you disengage the bolt release the bolt carrier automaticlly bulls the charging handle forward.

It doesn't move back automatically, but you're supposed to be able to push it back forward. Unless the charging handle was for some reason attached to the bolt carrier :P
it does, theres just no spring to bring it back forward. even on the real gun you have to push it back forward if the bolt locks when you manually cock it.
if your asking if the bolt will lock back on empty yes if your asking does the charging handle stays back when the bolt is open no...the charging handle is moves around everywhere whens the bolt back

The new improved AGM mags don't leak on Greengas anymore. You could also buy the GHK mags. I have my third AGM now and had a couple more in my hands and never had this funny "bolt getting stuck in buffer tube" issue. I have no knowledge or experience with metal body interchangability, but I heard the buffer tube is close to real outer dimensions, making it suitable for real stocks. Hope that helps.

ive bee hearing alot of stories that the mag leaks all the time is this true? and if so wat mag shud i buy for this gun? also ive heard of the bolt getting stuck in the buffer tube. dose this happen? if so how do u fix these flaws? because just like jeanhavok6475 im new to clones, and ive never had a gbbr. Oh ya 1 more question. Is this gun compatible with other metal bodies?

If you use it on Greengas be prepared to replace parts eventually. Parts I think need to be upgraded are the hopup chamber and bolt catch and get the anti-rotation links. With all these extra parts you're still way below the next cheapest GBBR (WE). If you experience that the bolt doesn't lock back after the last round, do the mag spring mod (put some BBs below the spring to make it stiffer).

Welcome on board, I am a clone sceptic myself and still am when it comes to AEGs. But the AGM M4 made it possible to enter the exciting GBBR world without any risks. It's not much money you spend on the AGM and yet you get a heck lot for your bucks. And if something really needs getting replaced or upgraded it doesn't have to cost you an arm or a leg. hey im kinda scared to get this agm gbbr. because ive never owned a clone before, and i dont have the money to buy we, or western arms m4s. but the thing is i really want a gbbr so i ran into the agm. im scared to buy it because i really dont want to buy a gun that will easily break on me. so i want to know if u wud recommend this gun. And any suggestions on what i should do if i buy it.

Azureman- i bought this gun off of ebay banned well built gun it seemed until i looked at it. hop up came broken, for some reason the mag leaks, doesnt stop the bolt and it will suddenly burst gas everywhere. the selector swicth came broken and my halosight i ordered never came with it. what should i do about the sudden gas leaks.

AGM has inconsistent assembly quality, but the parts themselves are often okay. Most of the known issues can be solved by disassembling and properly re-assmembling. Your hopup is probably not broken. It's a 2-parts design and can fall apart, thus making you think it's broken. The bolt stop problem can be solved by putting 8 double stacked BBs into the socket below the spring inside of each of your magazines).

The mags can hold green gas and afaik green gas is nothing but propane mixed with silicon oil and scent.

If you want a GBBR platform that looks and strips more realistic, then go for the AGM or any other WA-based GBBR. I personally don't see any reason to go for the WE system. The WE strips less realistic and you see that fugly brass gas chamber in the breach, plus the recoil is said to be weaker than any WA-based GBBR. The AGM though can't be compared to any other GBBR. It costs just a fraction of any other competitor even after upgrades.

This was answered before already. Just like on the real M4 there's no spring or anything to pull th e charging handle back into the receiver body when the bolt is locked back.

It's designed for 134HFC gas, but in this video Greengas was used. You may use Propane or Greengas to increase muzzle velocity, recoil and rate of fire, but all that at the cost of wearing it off much faster. Certain parts would need replacement with stronger after market parts to make it last.

Yes, it's removable and will reveal a flat top weaver rail. The handguard rail system is the KAC type.

It can, but it's not designed for propane/greengas, so something will break eventually, just a matter of time. On 134HFC gas things should be better.

As it's a WA replica, I assume most if not all after market parts for WA based platforms can be used. I've also seen customized parts for the AGM coming out now, e.g. metal hopup chamber, metal buffer, stronger recoil spring.

my dad owns an M4 and the charging handle doesn't move forward if the bolt is locked back buddy. When you disengage the bolt release the bolt carrier automaticlly bulls the charging handle forward.

That wierd. My dad has an M4 and when the bolt is loacked back the charging hadle can be pushed back into position. Who makes the M4/ar that your dad has?

It doesn't move back automatically, but you're supposed to be able to push it back forward. Unless the charging handle was for some reason attached to the bolt carrier :P

it does, theres just no spring to bring it back forward. even on the real gun you have to push it back forward if the bolt locks when you manually cock it.

Actually, the reason that the charging handle doesn't go forward is because of a problem with the original magazine.

if your asking if the bolt will lock back on empty yes if your asking does the charging handle stays back when the bolt is open no...the charging handle is moves around everywhere whens the bolt back
