First let me say GREAT VIDEO! First video I have ever seen that shows a true mastering set up. This is the most important thing is how to set up a master directly from the mix. Great routing techniques. Only thing is i dont see a true mastering chain with EQ, Compressors, Multi-band Comp's this is what mastering is albout the chain. Not just enhancers and routing but the sound shaping of the chain. NOT TRYING TO BE A WISE ASS!

I guess you could add these plugins in this order on the master fader: 1. Compressor/Limiter Dyn3(use the pump preset) 2. Air Stereo Width(increase level up by about 2.5 db and turn the width to about 125%) 3.Maxim (turn up the threshold but lower your output/clipping ceiling). You may still get distorted sound however if your individual tracks are not mixed correctly with the whole session. Thats why is better to just boost your complete mix in a master session. But try this

I really just need to boost the volume of my sessions! Everything I record comes out so quiet! Is there a quick trick to boosting the volume of the final .wav without it becoming distorted? Thanks. Rachel.
