Peter Molyneux mentioned that this was put there intentionally so that "cheaters" will face consequences in the real Fable game. Has anyone glitchers run into trouble in the real game or was that a load of B.S.? I think B.S., otherwise why did he have it patched if it was put there on purpose. I wanna do the glitch but not sure of the so called consequence. Can anyone confirm.
I got 750k and I didn't get anything bad,also if PM said this was put in for cheaters,Lionhead wouldn't have patched it. Also the only thing that happens is that you get corruption points if you got a lot of money.
I just worked at the blacksmith (I did amazing) and ended up with 100k and bought some a bunch of houses and kept marrying girls to get extra money and ended up with like 20 houses and set the xbox date to the latest year lol.
another way to get BIG AMOUNT OF GOLD is to buy as much houses and shops as you can anywhere is the game. once thats done, disconnect from xbox love and set the clock to the year 2025 and load your game. wait a second and it should say you got a good amount of money. connect back to xbox live to reset the clock and do it as many times as you want. message me if you have any questions.
Commenting on Esteway's comment earlier about typing in y x x Lb Rb x x....if you do this though you are able to use the glitch and gain tons of money, but when you want to check your leaderboard status to see how much money you have you need to update the patch, no big deal because you can always undo it again. but the money you've gained after using it doesn't show up, only the money that you've earned before the glitch. Will they only transfer that money to the game?

Go ahead, cheat. The Fable 2 developers MADE this cheat, so that your character is renowned to be a cheater in Fable 2, so the consequences are actually worse. ;)
my way to make money is play spinner box betting max bet until u unlock the last one (betting from 50-500) then buy like 10K chips and watch ur favorite TV shopw while pressing the A button (if u havent unlocked all the art work then ull have to press the occasional B button) wait 30 minutes, go back to ur game and u should have made 60K pay off ur debt watch TV again This time ull have like 120K and no debt. U will have made about 60K. If not then delete ur profile in pub games and start fresh

Most peeps who have the game and who downloaded the patch for it have gone un punished But other peeps say that they will wait till fable 2 comes out to release the punishment patch, but I doubt there is one.

haha I see now, don't do this, when you get fable 2. if you have 3 million gold of profit, in fable 2 you'll actually have the exact opposite 3 million of debt.

You can do this on all the levels on Fortunes Tower. I did and I stopped at 3 million gold. It get's reaaaaaaaaaaaally boring after a while :[

On the Xbox dashboard go over to the 'System' part of it, after the Media blade, then select 'Memory' or whatever, then highlight your hard drive and press Y, then press X X LB RB X X that should delete all the updates so you can do this. Not a big deal, you just have to download updates again for all your online games. But that only takes what, like 10 seconds maybe. No big deal.

He didn't exactly say that you would be punished. When asked about it, he just said that he wasn't going to say any thing about it. He did say that for every action there is a consequense in response to the question though which leads me to believe that there will be punishment. I actually find the "exploit" to be quite funny, for if the so-called "surprise" is real, then everyone who cheated (including those on the leaderboards top 10) are completely screwed and as such, I have the following to say: Cheaters never prosper, you are only hurting yourself if you cheat on anything in your life. Whether if its a video game, school, or some other random situation. Regardless, you're screwing yourself over. Stop it, be legit. Be patient and good things will come to you.

I found the code on joystiq a long time ago, and they are a legitimate source. It removes all the updates on your xbox for games. (Not the dashboard updates.)
Well, if might take a few tries, but here's how I did it.
Place a minimum bet on 10 for your only arch stone bet (you can bet whatever you want for the arch stone bets, but this is what I did). Then for you inside bets, place the max bet on the whole bottom row (3, all the triples, and 18). You'll continue to lose money, but after you get triples, then you have enough winnings to not bet anymore and just finish the game with your winnings. That's how I did it with all 5 Keystone tourns.
i got 400k right now and im not gonna go over....im gonna have 2 heroes...one with no money and one with 400k. I also have unlocked the championship pistol, cutlass, and the mysterious ring.

On the Xbox dashboard go over to the 'System' part of it, after the Media blade, then select 'Memory' or whatever, then highlight your hard drive and press Y, then press X X LB RB X X that should delete all the updates so you can do this. Not a big deal, you just have to download updates again for all your online games. But that only takes what, like 10 seconds maybe. No big deal.

I have done this a couple of times now.....I don't think I'll be doing it anymore,it will take out the challenge of fable 2....think about it,you get Fable 2 & the first thing you do is perches a castle.That would just suck!

He didn't exactly say that you would be punished. When asked about it, he just said that he wasn't going to say any thing about it. He did say that for every action there is a consequense in response to the question though which leads me to believe that there will be punishment. Like it'll turn all the money you earned into debt XD I'll Just wait until after the game comes out, and then if it turns out to be safe, I'll try it :P

I actually find the "exploit" to be quite funny, for if the so-called "surprise" is real, then everyone who cheated (including those on the leaderboards top 10) are completely screwed and as such, I have the following to say: Cheaters never prosper, you are only hurting yourself if you cheat on anything in your life. Whether if its a video game, school, or some other random situation. Regardless, you're screwing yourself over. Stop it, be legit. Be patient and good things will come to you.

Actually, Peter recently stated on Live Wire that the so called glitch isn't even a glitch and that it is in fact a cheat. He also stated that quote: "The cheat was intensionally put into the game. It was no accident. Anyone who use this cheat will be in for one hell of a surprise when they get Fable 2"

there is an Annotation in the to pright of the video screen that says:
"This glitch is patched, to continue using it highlight your memory unit under system abd enter Y,X,X,LB,RB,X,X"
There is no "System" option in this game. If you try doing this in your 360 control panel, it looks like you will format your hard drive.

I found the code on joystiq a long time ago, and they are a legitimate source. It removes all the updates on your xbox for games. (Not the dashboard updates.)

it clears your chache which removes all updates for all game. It does not remove any save files or anything else from the harddrive, don't worry.

Well, if might take a few tries, but here's how I did it.
Place a minimum bet on 10 for your only arch stone bet (you can bet whatever you want for the arch stone bets, but this is what I did). Then for you inside bets, place the max bet on the whole bottom row (3, all the triples, and 18). You'll continue to lose money, but after you get triples, then you have enough winnings to not bet anymore and just finish the game with your winnings. That's how I did it with all 5 Keystone tourns.

hey guys you do know that you can buy all albions buildings and items but it would run u around 100 million so i think if you are interested in owning albion then you should try to start fable 2 with at least 10 mill
