  • thnak goodness for a christmas that year 1979-80 was a blessed year be aware teh days and months after we will be facing EVIL that would destory us all I mean Robert Wagner stole the spotligt from natalie wood and i knew things we're going just fine then you we're lucky it was 1979.

  • This was 1979.

  • Natalie Wood sure was a Beautiful Lady!

  • I was in this parade- I remember how cold it was that night, and seeing NATALIE WOOD and meeting her. She was so nice- gave us a pep talk, told us to keep warm and have fun. I was in a marching band, and we were towards the end, near Santa's float. It was magical.

  • @PJCoan That was just a dream, you OC kid all hopped-up on dope! lol.

  • @PJCoan Hi, I remember watching the parade that year on TV. But I dont remember what year it was? Do remember? If so will you let me know...

    Thanks!

  • @PJCoan ----How lucky to have met Natalie Wood!

  • great look at the past--- A little bit of Johnny Mathis at the end was a nice touch--- Thanks for the memories and this rare gem

  • she was such a beautiful, kind woman

  • I was there! Natalie Wood was more gorgeous in person than on screen and considering she was the most gorgeous actress to ever appear on screen seeing her in person was heart stopping.

  • Home VCRs were rare in 1979. Glad you pushed "record" button on yours while watching this. Probably only copy in existance now.

  • Thanks a bunch for posting this. It's so wonderful to see RJ with his family.

I feel so sorry for him that he lost his beloved wife so soon.

  • @AuntieJools Yeah but he remarried like ten years later to her best friend.

  • @Firegirlable Jill St. John was NOT Natalie's best friend. They were nothing more that acquaintances. They knew each other as kids but they were never friends.

  • Hey Pam- caught this video, I was there then as a student at the University of Southern California, brings back memories. One of my roomates had the estate they shot Pearl on in Oahu and we flew over to watch-Great family.

  • It's sad that we loss Poor Ms.Wood all too soon.

  • Great stuff! :D
