How? My STi makes 442hp on an APS Twin Scroll with most power coming from 4600rpm AND it ways much less than this. From a 5 Litre V10 I would expect more.

emm he clearly didnt have the car in M mode, the engine only deliveres 430 in standard, you have to push the M button on the steering wheel and set it up in iDrive to get the full on 507

no dude, it was at full horse power, you dont know much about dyno's do you? the car is running at the full 500 horsepower AT THE FLYWHEEL which is not connected to a 3500 pound car when they dyno it at the bmw plant, when you take the engine and hook it up to the car, its 431 AT THE WHEELS, not the flywheel wich is 500 horsepower, but 431 AT THE WHEELS

That's not the problem, i saw stock m5 e60 doing 500 rwhp on dyno's ... the fact is that the car has only 1700 miles ... and at this stage, no engine delivers their full power ... try when your car will have 7500-10000 miles and you will see ... and i don't think that full power is at redline ... but maybe between 4500 and 6000-6500 rpm's. it's not with your 500 more rpm's that you will have your 70 more hp ... but i can make a mistake by saying this ....

IF a M5 stock does 200+ with 500 hp. Why couldn't my brothers m5 with 650 hp do 225 mph. If you're adding 150 more hp you'd think that the top speed would go up too.

for one a stock m5 barly passes 200! estimates are more in the 198+mph average speed. once you start heading above 200 the drag on the car gets greater especially on a sedan! if anyone wants to hit 225 in a m5 plan on having more than 800hp! plus no oversized rims and cut out things that weigh the car down.
