got this video really got me crying! the music and the beautiful pictures mad me think of my little parakeet Mickey. i grew up with him in my life. he died about two months ago and this video brought it all back. i just wanted to say: thank you. :)
my budgie died at 4:49 PM on the way to the vet....she couldnt stand up and i dnt know wut caused it but it was followed by lameness where they cant stand or anything
she was fine dat morning and then when i came up to check on her she was at the bottom of the cage and my other budgie was by her we where 2 min away from the vet and she jst looked at me and i new she was going to die before we got there =[
im so sorry for ur bird i no how it feels my bird she was the mom now all the babies were sold and only the father is left i was crying the whole day thinking of my bird.........
So sorry for your loss. Our parrot had lead poisoning and spent a week in an animal hospital when he was six months old. He's fine now 20 years later.
every thing u said reminds me of my budgie sunshine that died *cries* losing pets is the worst i have lost a bird when i was 4 it bumped into a wall and i saw it die *cries* but life is like that.....
i'm sorry for your loss. our bird, Cici passed away yesterday. He too was very special..we had such a bond with him and miss him so much. It is very hard for all of us right now. We aren't sure what happened. We think it had to do with his liver, He was ill tuesday night, but when I called the vet they said to monitor him but didn't insist to bring him in. He suffered greatly during the night and he passed away in the morning. We all feel so guilty for his suffering i hope urs didn't too much :(
thats so sad I used to have a budgie that loved to play webkinz with me and we didn't know he caught a disease from the pet store and one morning I awoke hearing three out of 4 budgies screaming I took the blanket off to see my best friend dead so I got a new budgie but it got a wound from the pet store but my new budgie looks like your dead one but mine is healing but it almost died because the wound was where the heart was It survivied and we had no vet help so I hope your new budgie as good
I am so sorry for your loss, it is a painful experience and this would be a tragic event anybody would avoid. It's just how life works. It is good that your new budgie is healing. Keep him/her away from toys that may contain lead and zinc.
a few months ago, my lovebird tried to fly away from my house. but unluvkily, when i went to the toilet, my lovebird was drowned inside the toilet bowl.
No that's not the case. I did not want the wings to be trimmed. It was better for him. He suffered from an accident by a closing door PERHAPS. He was following one of my family members and he possibly rammed in front of the door. That's when after he started throwing up seeds. The safety 'net'(sounds like theres holes in it so birds would probably get their nails stuck in it, I'd rather have cloth)is a good idea too.
did you cut his wing so that he could not fly which caused concussion? I have a safty net under the bird room, so that my birds won't drop on the floor when they are chasing each other, sometime they get crazy when they are playing, you may try this next time.
